2025-04-11 23:26:20 +0000 UTCI think an important thing to recognize with newer BCNR stuff is that each of the vocalists almost bring their own tone to the songs. Tyler's vocals are the highlights for me, songs like Nancy and Salem Sisters. May's songs almost have a fantasy vibe where they focus a lot more on abstract storytelling. I think the more upbeat tone that Georgia brings to her songs like Besties is maybe what you didnt like about it, but theres so many great songs here imo. This is 1000% a grower album

2025-04-10 15:33:43 +0000 UTCabsolutely a grower on all fronts, even some of my favorites were. i even loved a couple of them for over a year now since theyve been previewed and played live (thankfully was able to catch one of those gigs). the lyrics take a seat where i wouldnt usually expect them to on a record of this flavor, but the more i sunk into it, the more i loved it (esp during the lovely springtime here in the USA). thank you for the open mind, and loved the video! much love <3
