I really feel like the whole "blaring mix" thing is a bit of a stretch are you saying just because there's an 808??? Cause if we're saying this is unpleasant just cause it's "loud nonsense" the same can easily be said about rock music

The production is great, but another rapper should be handling it, Carti sounds like someone hit him in the head. Yeat, Daveed Diggs, El-P, Aesop Rock, Danny Brown, JPEG, rappers across the spectrum that can handle beats this quirky would sound infinitely better on this

Although his last 3 had cohesion, I believe it’s better when he just lets the chaos shine like he did here. Amazing piece of work

And I'm hardly a big rap or hip hop listener but I do at least listen to new things. But it seems the 5 year wait was too long and the album was a bit of a disappointment to most people is what I'm getting minus a few songs, which I'd have to say I'd agree with

2025-03-17 21:12:15 +0000 UTCfew thing , A. great reaction , your OPM BABI faction had me in tears B. i think this album was meant to be a mashup of a bunch of stuff that he’s made over the last 5 years without any theme or sense of direction , hence the title and the 30 song tracklist . i think every listener is meant to listen through once , find the songs they like , and move on . I think this is just carti feeding his fans after so long and throwing a lot of stuff out there so everyone can get at least a few songs they’ll enjoy C. this does not excuse the poor mixing throughout or the subpar performance at times . i also feel like he could have took time to structure the album based on the sounds instead of all the songs being so randomly placed .
