Gimme some AOTY contenders I've not heard

I want to get through some AOTY contenders before I do my list next week, and record them as vids for the Patreon.

There's only so much time so some might have to wait until after the list, but ideally I can get a couple in before the list.

I have been meaning to do Geordie Greep for ages, but lemme know what else I've missed out on.

Plan is to get a couple of these, plus another classic (radiohead again maybe?) done before xmas break.

My youngest has been off school the last few days so recording has been tricky but we'll get it done.

Cheers!

Jon

Jon Denton

Agreed. I hate categorising things as IDM but it’s a relatively acceptable description given that usually the genre listeners of things like that wouldn’t produce dance albums, for me Cascade is a blend of the two in a perfect way.

Decomp

Absolutely. I wouldn’t call it the exact essence of mainstream, but it’s certainly a widely listenable dance album that is fresh and creative, worth listening to
