I found this album extremely bland. Like the beats just felt so generic and uninspired. I hope he has a real vision for his next album

2024-04-09 14:17:59 +0000 UTCI think him rapping about women is like being married to an actor who has to do sex scenes and kiss people in movies, there are things that whether they’re real or not, people wanna hear it and he’s gonna say it so his music sounds “cool” and his wife accepts that. Obviously not exactly the same but just part of being a celebrity/spouse to a celebrity

2024-04-09 04:33:51 +0000 UTCI feel like Cole will always be himself and my respect for him only grows he loves Kendrick so how could he diss him if he truly doesn’t feel that way but the culture wanted blood he was in a position where he could only lose either the battle or a friend I feel like he rather battle on the same track bar for bar instead of a diss

Either way, found this project is solid not the best from his discography but will see in time due how much it will change my opinion. Keep at it Jon🫡

Also, I think Cole’s apology was mainly directed at the discography part of the diss, which he regrets saying because he is a huge Kendrick fan. Don’t think he necessarily regrets the rest of it (saying he’s number 1 and will smoke him IF he has to)
