First, I believe it is now the right time to reveal the point of the first post-credit scene. It was not only about Morgan reappearing; it was also about the signs carved in the tree trunks. The cannibals of Terminus were tracking the group. Hopefully, those signs will lead Morgan to Rick.
Second, I must say no one felt bad about the way Rick and his family massacred the Claimers and the cannibals of Terminus. When you think about what the Claimers did to people - they attacked the innocent, raped the vulnerable (including children) and murdered people for sport - they deserve to be massacred. Same goes for the cannibals of Terminus. Rick warned Gareth that he would kill him with the red machete, and why shouldn't he? They were cannibals who had no mercy for the innocent. They even killed that injured boy whose girlfriend was torn apart. They would have murdered and eaten Carl and Judith if they had gained the upper hand, and they would have found great pleasure in doing so. They were worse than the Governor (even if they were not nearly as capable). And while I understand their trauma, there is simply no justification for cannibalism. That is the ultimate extremism. And Rick saw them do it to four guys, almost to him and three of his family, and then to Bob. Rick and co massacring them was a fate they deserved.
Third, Maggie's description of the church as four walls and a roof is so apt. But I think we can understand why Gabriel panicked. He was never a fighter, and he was very non-violent, not even having the stomach to put down walkers. Also, he was clearly ashamed of his own cowardice and was remorseful of what it caused.
Fourth, Tyreese needs to take a step back and allow his sister to heal at her own pace. He means well, but getting over the loss of a loved one (especially to cannibalism) is one of the hardest things to do, and he would know that. At this point, she needs care and a bit of understanding, not a lecture. The lecture becomes necessary however if she starts becoming irrational. And so far, that has not been the case.
