*ARMY GOLD* - BTS: Break The Silence - Ep. 4 (“SPEAK YOURSELF”) Reaction!!

This episode hit completely different after experiencing the FULL 3+ HOUR Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Final Concert in Seoul. The fact that BTS launched straight into a second high-stakes world tour (back-to-back), with barely any rest, new cue sheets, upgraded stages, and bigger crowds is absolutely freakin’ mind-blowing 😵‍🔥

From the legendary Rose Bowl to the rain-soaked Soldier Field, we could feel the whirlwind of emotions and ENERGY that the members felt as they began this tour. INCREDIBLE.

I was at the Chicago concert too! I’m from MI so I’m used to the cold but my god was it abnormally freezing for it being mid may! I got so sick after but it was totally worth it! lol we were all jumping around like crazy to keep warm it made it seem like a huge festival. the members mention that concert to this day so it was memorable for us all!!

I was at the Solider Field show in Chicago and it was the most memorable experience I’ve had at a concert. They were pros through and through and handled the challenges that came with our shitty Midwest weather. 🥹😂 Joon even said it was their “first winter concert” and Jimin said “don’t get sick” 🥹💜 I love that it had an impact on them too as something good to look back on because I was afraid it would make them never want to come back LOL. But I love this series so much, possibly more than any other documentary they’ve had because it’s so raw. Love them so much and can’t wait until they come back again. 💜

Not as old as to have seen the Beatles - but back in the 90s, channels like MTV/MuchMusic actually played music videos all day and they'd have interview shows where artists came on to promote their tours etc. Other than that, you'd check the newspapers to see who was coming to your specific city - or cities would have independent newspapers that really only covered VERY local news and usually mostly events. They'd list upcoming concerts. This is also where the old tour-posters came from - ahead of the band's tour, they'd hire people to put up tour posters all over town, or the neighbourhood around the venue. The tour posters would sometimes have the full tour listed too, so you could see what other cities they were going to. Obviously, there WAS still the internet in the 90s, and if your group were tech-savvy enough, they'd have a webpage that you could check frequently for updates. But it was before youtube and video, and most everyone was on dial-up... so it was just an information source. I still attend concerts mostly like I did when I was a teenager. I take out my phone for a couple of photos or very short clips here and there, but it goes away in my pocket for most of the show and I just listen/dance. That's the thing with the internet existing now - I know I can always watch BTS through a screen, but it's rare to see them in person - so while I'm there in person, I don't want to spend my time looking at them on yet another screen. Even if I'm high up in the rafters, I tend to look at them directly running around on the stage, rather than the big screens.
