Status Update

So its been a minute since I've made any posts here. Since the first book is getting a rework I've kind of just overhauled everything I had, really going full out, and while its still not done and probably wont be for some more time here, I'm excited to see the response when it is.

I've reworked the script format it was in originally and turned it into a more standard 3rd person omniscient novel with illustrations right there alongside the text. I'm still working on the art as there is...

An experimental screenshot from a Google doc. I can't give a lot of details about this, other than saying its origins will crop up in the story at some point. ^.^

I also wanted to keep the painting/sketch style of Umbral drawings instead of just using them for shirts or whatever, so this is one of those ways.

Drawing for Distraction

Well... My cat has cancer. He is 15 years old. I have only lived 9 of my 24 years without him. He is getting put down on Monday. I am drawing and doing literally whatever I can to keep him comfortable and also distract myself.

Quick Update

Between learning I have an incurable skin condition, loosing access to my antidepressants and such and my cat having a tooth infection so bad he isn't eating very much at all(he is scheduled for surgery which also has me worried cuz he's like 14~ years old and never been under general before), I have been so so very quiet. I only dip into my socials like once a week or so right now.

Wulven Language Guide

Really wanted to give the non-English languages used in the story more personality than just (in Wulven) or whatever so I took some time to figure out how to get this in the actual docs themselves. It's literally pasting small pngs of every letter. Lots of work but it looks soo good!

Hey~

It's been a while and 5 Saturdays since posting the final version of episode 3. I said I would stick to a schedule and failed to do so. Seems even if my health is on the better end life will still throw hurdles at me, and I am very easily disrupted. Following a schedule is one of the best ways to track growth/progress which is why I want to do it so badly, but even when I want to I still scramble it.

Hiccup

Ep 4 should have been up a couple days ago but I got the files mixed up from the professional editor and ended up formatting the wrong one by accident… (Just 12 hours to redo lol no problem! XD) I should have it done sometime tonight if everything goes as planned. Sorry for the hiccup, it's still on its way! ^.^

Gonna try to get ep4 up tonight or tomorrow. I wanted to have up to 6 out by today but as always formatting takes longer than I think. I blink and suddenly I'm 6 hours in and I haven't eaten yet that day lol.
