This is such a refreshing and playful song that felt like two best friends (who are also professional rappers) letting loose and having fun with their craft.
From the samples, to the back-and-forth banter, to the fiya-spitting, it felt like RM and Suga stepped into the booth, hit record, and made a track that ONLY they could make together.
It's a good reminder that not every BTS track has to be a deeply meaningful ballad or stadium anthem. Although...we are now eagerly awaiting that NamGi ballad lol 👀

2025-03-31 18:30:30 +0000 UTCRegarding your conversation about "can you have love without respect?", I would say that to truly love someone - the "your my everything and I can't live without you" kind of love - requires respect. Otherwise, it wouldn't be that strong and deep of a feeling. (though you can trick yourself into feeling that, but I'm referring to when it's real) But as you said, in lesser forms, they can be separate. And when you used abusive relationships as an example, it made me realize: it's easy to start loving someone but hard to stop loving them, while it's hard to start respecting someone but easy to lose respect for them.
