Today I wanted to share a bit of the progress I made during the release week of Trueclash.
But first, to give you a clearer idea of how much content was added to each part, Iβll be using the number of lines of code as a rough measure. Itβs the easiest (and least exhausting) way I have right now to keep you updated.
This section was still unfinished before I could move on to the Beerpong tournament.
Adrian may make a new request to Ren and itβs up to the player to accept or not.
Around 800 lines of code were added just for this fancy boy.

Small update to his sprites:
I realized Diego hasnβt been getting as much attention as he deserves...
And while adding and reviewing his content, I noticed his sprites were actually lower quality compared to the rest.
Yeh... felt bad about that.

So, back to Photoshop I went Redrew a few parts, tweaked the layers, made 3 new expressions and improved the overall quality of the sprites.
I also silently patched the updated sprites into the game. If you download the pc version 0.1 now, you should already have the improved versions but the new expressions will only be available on version 0.1.2 π§
As for new content for Diego:
Roughly 400 new lines of code were added so far.
More is on the way, but development is a bit trickier here, since 3 to 4 variables can affect how this content unfolds depending on your past choices and doing so requires more planning than a streamlined scene.
This content is tied to Adrianβs route, so it can be easily missed if you donβt play your cards well with Adrian.

Viktorβs sprite is pretty much ready.
