2024-05-10 23:30:20 +0000 UTC2016 MMA Awards was my first Kpop award show EVER and I only watched because of BTS. That Fire performance was literally that-fire!!! And boy let me tell you, they lit my fire and that was when I realized I'd never ever ever ever be the same. This is also my favorite Fire performance as well Jordan. Not only cuz it was my first time livestreaming a Korean award show but I got to see my boys win. In general I think the MMA awards show is the best and you'll soon be able to see why in the 2018 performance of Idol and the whole dam performance of 2019. As for BFL v. ATS, I'm good with BTS guys ๐ ๐๐ซถ๐๐ซถ

Thanks for the ideas tho ๐ But Jordan is right with the word Authentic - this is why ARMY loves the boys so much and one can easily get drawn to BTS because of their authenticity ๐ IMO, MAMA cameras are better than MMA's. Even Big Hit cameras did a better job capturing BTS' performance! As I've mentioned in my comments before, one of BTS' ritual was to go live right after an award show and on their birthdays. They always would want to spend time thanking ARMY rather than going to some after-party event. Now ARMY always expect them to go live after an award show and on their birthdays - it's already like ARMY's date with BTS. They never failed to do this even if the internet reception was so bad when they're in hotels in the US. Just a side note: Sunbae-nim (because Jordan was curious what it was) You'll often hear them say SUNBAE (they add NIM to make it more formal if you're not yet too close to that person) - this is what they address to artists who were more senior to them. That means when that someone called Jimin "sunbae-nim" - that person might be a new idol or a rookie. This word is used everywhere, in the school or in the office. At this point, BTS did not expect much because they've been working hard for years but had not received anything yet. Other groups win right after they win Rookies/New artist of the year. But with BTS, they took 3 years. Mainly because they did not have the biggest promotions of albums just like other groups from big companies did. So this accomplishment was more, more amazing because they knew and we all knew that they earned this while having the least means. Thanks for this reaction mah fave brothers. Again, it's fine to skip BV or Run BTS sometimes to get to more music and BTS moments. Thank you again.. let's all get ready for the COMING OF RM!! ๐๐๐
