To honor our beautiful mother, Kristen, on the 10th anniversary of her passing, we decided to listen to Jin’s cover of “Mom” (original artist: Ra.D).
We had previously heard a snippet of this song in a “Rise of Bangtan” reaction, and knew that listening to the full song today would be a perfect way to keep our mom’s memory alive.
This is one of those songs/covers that simply touches the soul. As fellow Patron, J-LEE said: “Jin's voice beautifully exudes emotions that every word pierces thru the heart.” Jin's raw, emotional vocals combine seamlessly with the minimalist instrumentation. WE FELT EVERY SECOND OF IT.
