He has the supernatural ability to use his voice as his instrument and blow us all off the face of the Earth (at least for a few minutes).

I went through a whole phase of only listening to the BTS covers and most of those are JK's haha. He is so talented and emotive, even in a language that he struggled with at the time. Nothing Like Us, Lost Stars and Fools have always been favourites of mine, so I'm glad they hit with you too. RM singing is a weakness for me. I'm SO GLAD you looked up I Know and found out it was an original BTS track because it was killing me for that minute where you thought it was a cover and odd choice of song haha. I Know might just be my favourite unofficial BTS song and the live performance is absolutely magical. JK and RM together might be my favourite subunit. I also love rock vibe JK - I recommend listening to the song the vocal line (but mostly JK) did for Coca Cola called 'Jungle' or 'Into the Jungle'. It's one minute (which is a tragedy) and has strong rock vibes and JK sung it in a live as well and I'm obsessed. But you can't really go wrong with JK ever (or any of the members). Also Abyss was mentioned for a second there and yes! Abyss if my favourite member solo song ever please react to it. Jin's voice always evokes emotions so well and this song, which is sad and raw, is one of the best examples of that. Plus Jin wrote it himself which makes it a great insight into his thoughts.

Though I love all the members and they are all so talented with different tones, the main reason why JK is my bias is his voice. It's something I can't explain, he could sing the ingredients of a shampoo bottle and it would still sound amazing. All genres, all types of beats, he can do it all and everything suits him. Sorry for my rant. lol. I enjoyed your reactions.

I remember in 2021, I was watching JK's live on weverse and he was singing as per usual and taking suggestions for songs to sing, I had suggested him to sing 'nothing like us' a few times in the comments. TELL ME HOW HE READ MY COMMENT & SANG A SNIPPET OF THAT SONG ON HIS LIVE! OH MY GOSH.... that made my year. I absolutely love that song. it's one of my favorite songs by JB along with 'Purpose' as well. When I heard JK singing it I almost died!I couldn't believe it. I could listen to JK singing nothing like us on and on and not get tired of it. AND, YES! We need a JB & JK song or album ASAP! Thank you so much for reacting to JK's covers. This was such a treat.

Other notable english songs that he covered are 2U, 10,000 Hours, Nevernot and more....while other korean songs I personally love that he covered are Ending Scene, All of my life and SOFA but again, he has more.

JK's voice is so soothing and the type of music hes drawn to is so mellow and soft. With the exception of We Don't Talk Anymore, Lost Stars and Christmas Day, I never heard any of the originals before either. But I completely fell in love with Fools. How about rasing as a combo for rapping and singing?? ๐๐ First time I heard Lost Stars was in Bon Voyage when JK did a busking performance, I hope you get to watch it one day. It was so touching watching some of the guys watching him perform. I know there's a link out there I'll try yo find. The instrument was a harmonica in the song with Lady Jane. I was so cheesy when you brought up my girls SWV cuz those were the best times for me. The 90's were my teen years. ๐ My Time is a must guys....it's a solo song from Map Of the Soul:7 and you are truly robbing yourselves of pure r n b heaven. My personal favorite covers from JK are Nothing Like Us, Ending Scene, 10,000 Hours, Never Not, At my Worst, Falling, and Working/Yanghwa Bridge. You just listened to Nothing Like Us, but for the rest of them I HIGHLY reccomend you check them out eventually (I don't want any talk about not recomending you these because I'm saying it loud rn ๐). Jungkook's a chameleon. His voice can meld to any style while also maintaining his special Jungkook essence. I was just like you as I had never heard the original for many of his covers. For most, I've now gone back and listened to the original, and while they are great in their own right, nothing compares to Jungkook's covers for me.
