► What good deed did we do to deserve THREE SOOTHING LIVE PERFORMANCES??? 😇😇😇
► It’s quite evident that Suga has been working hard on his vocal skills. We see you. We hear you. We want MORE 🎶
► The friendly SOPE view-count competition (about how Suga wants his ‘Palette’ interview to garner more views than J-Hope’s ‘Palette’ interview) made us laugh…and also led us on a detour into the recent BILLBOARD / Jimin shenanigans. What in the world is going on here? Can anybody MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!?!
► Suga crying to his own song (‘People’)–when the algorithm put it in front of him when he needed to hear it most–is not narcissistic in the slightest. In fact, it is the definition of CATHARTIC.
► Suga’s comments near the end of this interview regarding concert stage design/production made us wonder…is Steph Curry going to appear on stage and start shooting 3’s!? 🏀 At this point, ANYTHING could happen.

As far as soaking in the experience, I think that's a great idea. I do want to warn you guys though that in recent years, the phones have become more of an issue, so hopefully that won't be the case for your concert or you'll be able to see over them 😭.

2023-04-20 17:44:01 +0000 UTCI watched IU’s Palette with Suga before the Billboard rule change affecting only Jimin came to light & remember being happy that Minstradamus’s predictions were seemingly back on track. He was right when he said it was all spot on until the Grammys. His prediction for People Part 2 landing on Hot 100 somewhere between 70-80 SHOULD have also come true as it was No 1 in Digital Sales - just like most recent BTS/solo/collars - all of which debuted within the Hot 100. But the unannounced & abrupt changes Billboard made prevented that from happening. And whilst No. 1 position on the Global & Digital Sales charts is fantastic- and lining BTS’s pockets instead of corporate bodies, the Hot 100 does have a certain prestige. I guess it’s an unwelcome part of your BTS journey but at least now you’ve seen & felt for yourselves the impact it has on ARMYs. The confusion & disappointment in the system which should be fair but clearly is not.

2023-04-20 12:40:13 +0000 UTCAwww lovely, you’ve officially “met” IU (can’t wait for you to react to j-hope’s episode on Palette; it was lovely and from Lollapalooza era so still quite current) and yes she was Jungkook’s first crush, one of the reasons he wanted to be a singer and the woman he named his “ideal type” in many interviews over the years. He was at her concert with a couple of other members at the time that Suga was teasing her that she didn’t invite him onstage 🤣 I really like these same-age friendships the members have with other artists it’s a nice insight into Korean culture I think. I’m watching this reaction on the bus, my boyfriend sent me the wrong way 😂 so I’ve had to change buses to go back the correct way and it’s so fun to watch you while travelling through Scotland! Always nice to see IU, the first time I saw her was in a Kdrama (Scarlet Heart). Suga always seems to find the right words to answer questions, professional and true to his image. Not for a reaction. Jonghyun's music has been a HUGE part of my life for good 9 years since 2008, from SHINee days to his solo. Since his death, I never listened to Korean music ever, as it brought just too much pain to even hear Korean language, until BTS found its way into my YT algorithm during Covid 2020, with an English number at that, Dynamite. Thanks for remembering Jonghyun <3 I hope he's finally happy now, on the other side of the rainbow

I disagree with two things he said: He writes and has beautiful love/heartbreak verses “Just One Day” for example. He is a very attractive man. Sorry Yoongi you’re being too modest. Insert Jared and Jordan laughing their asses off at me 😱😉. I don’t get the point of the whole Billboard fiasco because aren’t some of these western artists now under the same label as BTS so what is the point. You cut radio play out so of course you cut Jimin out. Payola is unfortunately and regrettably a big problem in the industry and it’s making “radio “ less relevant. Great reaction guys 🫶🏻💜💜🇨🇦

Like I've said before, i think it would be a good time to explain the history when you cover ON/Dynamite because thats when everything started.

2023-04-14 12:37:17 +0000 UTCHi guys, this was a great reaction, as always, and since it seems like you aren't sure what's going on with Jimin and the charts here, I live a video about it. This army explains in detail what's happening once you dig into the subject more, you begin to realize how messed up the music industry is and how in reality, many big-known artists aren't that big. They're just benefiting from the racism and xenophobia that exists in the industry. Jimin deserved his #1 and a second week too, but his sales have been manipulated since the very release of his album. Korean charts deleted 700k of his sales, youtube has constantly been deleting the views on his videos, Spotify has been messing up his streams, and now Billboard manipulated 100k of his sales, and he's been robbed right in front of the world. It is incredibly frustrating to see them messing up with someone that has put his body and soul into his work. I'm frustrated because I'm streaming and buying his music but deleting and manipulating the number feels like they are ignoring my existence as a fan. It's my money and my time, so I decide where it goes. They took that away from us is illegal, and I hope to see someone take action on the matter, but knowing the industry, I know if it's not an American artist this will keep happening. Sorry about the rant lol J&J you nice keep going

They will tell you the time frame to get the tickets, get special merch, and enter the arena. Everyone in your party has to enter together in order to get the vip soundcheck benefits. They will ask for your ID and CC that was used to buy the tickets. We don’t know what it will be like for Yoongi, but at bts concerts, it was usually about 3 songs that they sing in front of a smaller crowd. I was actually lucky enough to go to soundcheck at PTD LA but it was my first bts concert and I was so overwhelmed that I don’t remember anything from soundcheck 😭 I will be going to the last 2 shows of the US shows in California. I can’t wait to hear about your experience and about the concert!!! Have a blast!

I am so pumped for AGUST D on tour, Yoongi has so much talent and I feel like we still haven't seen it all. I can't wait until he blows the stage up!! Suga also had 2 members of TXT on his Suchwita show if you would like to check that out after his album & documentary comes out (or b4 idk how your recording schedules are). But I remember back then when they popped up in a few things you checked out, you were kinda lost by who they were and maybe that'll give you more insight on their connections with BTS and the group itself.

2023-04-14 00:46:32 +0000 UTC“(protect the artist)” meant he said something they think should stay a bit more private or could be misunderstood easily. so they used the clip of him censoring his own words😂this happened in one of the first episodes of run as well when jhope was on the roller coaster and they put a sticker over his face cause he could be uncomfortable with his face on the ride being aired (?) idk if that makes sense but it’s basically just censoring for the artist for their comfort!

2023-04-14 00:36:33 +0000 UTCsoundcheck starts earlier at the day and you get to see Suga rehearse and do soundcheck without makeup and just normal clothes. it´s a close door event so army is not allowed to film doing that time. so if you go to that you might get spoiled about the stage and what songs he will be performing. but he will have a talk with army. i have never been to one but that´s what i have read about. i think the time should be on the ticket. how ever i dont think Jimin or IU will be there for the US concerts only the Korean one. but i hope i am wrong hehe

2023-04-13 23:32:51 +0000 UTCSoundcheck is the same day as the concert its a couple of hours before the start and it will be Suga singing 2 to 3 songs to get his mic right and volume etc right as well. You won't be able to film any soundcheck moments, but it is great fun and BTS are the only artist I know who allow fan into a soundcheck.

OMG?!!! that means you get to be with a few lucky people when Suga does rehearsal like an 1 hr before the actual concert😭😭😭...BTS always does this with armys, they usually sing like 3 songs, you see them in their comfy clothes and they talk / interact with you,,, please enjoy Suga's soundcheck a lot, that's insane, (and you will probably see him upclose)

2023-04-13 22:57:01 +0000 UTCRegarding the Billboard mess - we've actually learned a little more and they didn't cut out sales. They only cut out Jimin's sales. They filtered approximately 90% of sales of Like Crazy (both physical and digital). Other artists' sales counted. The first major rule change happened after Butter dominated the charts a couple years ago. They asked Namjoon in an interview about fans "manipulating" the charts by mass buying and streaming and his answer was basically "The charts go by your rules, if you don't like them then change them." And they did. They now heavily weigh radio play (which BTS doesn't get much of because Hybe/Big Hit doesn't do payola) and streaming over sales.

I miss Jonghyun more as I know him better and I can't imagine how hard it must have been for IU and Suga to lose such a close friend. 2023-04-13 22:01:25 +0000 UTCthe sales are basically referring to like crazy digital copies (which still directly benefits jimin), but billboard filtered 90% of the sales going from 115k to 14.8k, which means they didn't count ANY D2C sales which keeps him from charting in the top 10. the billboard "rule change" of buying 1 per email forever is actually a sort of lie since this was already scrapped a few months ago (pls correct me if im wrong) and we actually don't know WHY his D2C sales were never counted. something shady is going on for sure

Every artist has their own website to buy the songs but BB decided to not count Jimins sales so they filtered 90% of his sales so he would drop. Usually BB releases an article about the rankings n sales after announcing the chart but this time no article was made, no media has questioned them about the filtering they did and even prediction accounts that predicts the chart hasn’t released any new predictions for next wk. BB is just ignoring everything

2023-04-13 21:41:25 +0000 UTCso jungkook did mention once or twice when he was like 15-17 (can't remember exactly) that he had a "crush" on iu when he was randomly asked in an interview but he hasn't mentioned it in years. tbh the joke around it got very overused. especially now that yoongi and iu are such close friends. yes iu is basically the it girl of Korea. they love her over there and for good reason. she's extremely talented and kind. so edit to what joy said about bb, sales do count. we thought they changed the rule to say that reusing emails for purchases weren’t allowed anymore. which means if you used an email to purchase like crazy during week one and again during week two it would no longer count for week 2 or every again. turns out that wasn’t true either. there wasn’t a rule change. bb didn’t count 90% of his sales for literally no reason. we’ve been hounding them but they’ve yet to give us an answer.
