PASSWORD: PURECHAOS

Today, we’re throwing down the UNO REVERSE card and taking a trip back in time to finish up our reaction to BTS’ “War of Hormone” (호르몬 전쟁).

We’d like to thank all of you for sharing your thoughts, opinions, feedback, insight, etc. in the comments of our PART 1 reaction…we have read them all! You make us feel like we’re in a college seminar, and we’re forever grateful for it.

Here are our takeaways from today’s reaction:

1. “Goooooofy serious”…this is the only way we know how to describe the content we consumed today.

2. Is V performing with a lollipop in his mouth!?!?

3. We are terrified of Min “Chuckie” Yoongi. And that knife…YIKES!

4. “War of Hormone” is officially growing on us sonically.

5. Butt-smacking appears to be one of BTS’ love languages 😂

Oh and last thing…don’t forget to share in the comments below your tips for Jordan on approaching his “Gym Crush”!!! LET’S GOOO.

ARMY, as always, we truly appreciate your love and support (WE’LL CONTINUE SAYING THIS UNTIL THE END OF TIME). BTS - “WAR OF HORMONE” | PART 2 REACTION (THREE Dance Practices + THREE Live Performances + MORE!)

Comments

I know I am late... as I catch up with everyone. But I lo ed this song the first time I heard it as well as after I looked up the lyrics. Not comparing these words to any others I have heard, we all think these things at some points in our lives. Its just Artists like BTS and Tay Swift that put them into their music. That's why their music are such great stories. Borahae💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

LaNita Starr

Late but I feel the need to comment anyways. Hoshi from the group Seventeen went on Suchita and talked about how because of BTS and how they made Bangtan bombs it forced other bands to do the same thing.

Joy Jenkins

Finally y'all hearing look here lol

NotFunny ButFunny

I love watching suga during live performances specially cuz he really brings the energy when needed and steals the show especially in the early days

NotFunny ButFunny

I'm so happy it grew on you guys

NotFunny ButFunny

Also since you noticed V having “trouble” keeping his sweater/jacket on his shoulder, I must mention that Jimin is known to “accidentally” reveal his shoulder. In the reaction video to the Blood, Sweat & Tears mv, the guys were teasing Jimin about practicing the jacket flip and Jimin said it was an accident. It’s funny because Jimin still has those shoulder reveal “accidents”, lol!

DanielleM

I love the speech he gave about love

DanielleM

Loved these reactions, thank you both! Lmao, BTS should also stand for “Boys That Spank” or “Butts To Slap”!!!!🤣

DanielleM

This comment is sooo late~ Agree with Laura, there have been far worse. US music scene has so much racy content that we have grown numb and that is the norm. Hearing about WOH and the backlash was surprising. It is meant to be playful. The boyband era Nsync and others those lyrics were not much different. Culturally I understand how Koreans could view it. Have other artists not used this type of language in other genres? Or was it because they were considered kpop, they were expected to be squeeky clean. The behind the scene of the Grammys is perfect example when RM said watch your expressions. Took that as people are always watching and analyzing everything we do. Especially with social media anything can get twisted or edited, under a microscope. Lots of artists get away with behaviors that BTS can not. I've only see BTS treat women with the most respect in the public. V in rise of Bangtan when they were shooting AHL when one of the girls casted in the MV side hugged him he pulled his shrunk, maybe from nervousness...There is an unwritten rule they cannot grab/squeeze women around the shoulders back etc (that they don't have a bond with). Halsey, Becky G, a few others are exempt because of the long working relationships. (Long time Army could correct me or speak more on this). But that's how aware they are, like " see my hands" "I'm not touching them" Jordan, "Focus On.." (as JK said) Your Workouts!!! haha. When I go to the gym I'm the only one there.. on purpose. It's "My Time" until I walk out the door, no chat. Not everyone is a nervous weirdo like me. So approach. The worst they can say is "NO."

Jess Horton

That song from the Halloween behind is called LOOK HERE, and it's from Dark & Wild! I already commented on another video that you should listed to the rest of the songs on the album, but especially Look Here. You guys have to. You can just listen at once and not do a deep dive of the remaining songs to save on time, if you would like. But please give the rest of the songs a listen. I can promise you won't regret it :)

Nina

I'm only 63, but I second that. My life is richer for it and I figure better late than never. I salute you grandma! 💜

Rockermom (Helen V)

Idk if it’s just me, but V was so fine throughout this song era. I love the way he brought a character to life in the dance practices and live performances. His smirks and smug looks really took over me, I have to admit it 🤷🏾‍♂️😂💜

Jamon

Yet another great reaction. Thank you boys.

Rheichel Tormis

Fringe means bangs/ front part of hair around forehead! To Koreans, the styling of fringe is really important, they don't really like to show their foreheads.

Min Jet

They made 21st century girl in response to this song just like they made Boy with Luv in response to Boy in Luv. I love both War of Hormone & Boy in Luv and will never forgive antis for sabotaging BTS but I can't complain much because we did get 2 more amazing songs out of this experience. I specially love 21st Century Girl. Hope you react to it aome day 💜💜💜

Pacific Pacific

I hope you react soon to Truth Untold and House of Cards by BTS 🥺 its so beautifully written.

Yani

I'm just getting to comment on this reaction. I will be 70 years young this year and I do double takes at handsome men still. BTS got my attention and so did you twins. Granted BTS are amazing and so are you two at what you do. I am grateful 9 young men came into my life making a big difference. No I'm not a dirty old woman looking at younger men. But I am an older woman who adopted 9 young men as her grandson's. Just call me 할머니 (halmeoni) – grandma.🤣🤣🤣🤣

LIBBY WILSON

To your question were the behind the scenes videos a Kpop thing or was it just BTS? As Suga said in ep. 4 of Suchwita, “I’m sorry for what we’ve done to Kpop. We did a lot of things we shouldn’t have.” 🤘🤘

Ellysa Vaj

Charlie Chaplin did appear as a serial killer in a movie called Monsieur Verdoux and due to his political views and due to his numerous affairs (2000+) and illegitimate children as a result of those affairs, he was being investigated by the FBI and was essentially exiled from the USA and moved to Switzerland.

SkyWatcher

Charlie Chaplin did play a serial killer in a movie called Monsieur Verdoux ... he also was exiled from the USA and had to move to Switzerland !

SkyWatcher

I can completely relate with Heather. I too will stop in my tracks if I see a good looking man lol. And I will be 1000% honest the first time I saw a thumbnail of you two on YouTube, I thought," who are these cuties? " and I clicked the bait lol. Unbeknownst to me my journey with you guys started, and I'm so grateful I did cuz not only are you amazing reactors, you both are amazing human beings. So Jordan, my advice for approaching your gym crush is to just simply pass by and shine those pearly whites 😁. They would be totally stupid not to smile back and begin a conversation with you. Let us know how that goes lol. Now, V's crazy self typically wears his jacket and sweaters half off. He also hates shoes and usually kicks them off and goes barefoot as you will notice in future videos. I think it's the farmer life in him. I'm so glad you guys did more in-depth reactions to WOH and that it began to grow on you. I think the last video reaction I did mention that it would do that lol. Some BTS songs do have that tendency if at first it's not one of your favs. Anyhow, thank you again for another great reaction. You guys always put in so much effort in all of your videos. Im not just here for BTS, Im here for you guys and you definitely are the only patreons I subscribe to. I know sincerity when I see it. Love yall 💜💜

LizP⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷

the behind the scene thing you guys asked about is a valid question. So back when BTS debuted due to them being from a small company they didnt have the pull to appear on a lot traditional media. So what was an accessible way to do that regardless of status? social media. They used to run their own little blogs as well in the bangtan website and started to use twitter a lot. But there's an interesting catalyst that BTS indirectly caused with that and is one of the ways they gained a lot of traction. It's a bit of a touchy subject in the community but BTS first gained recognition in the U.S because of that unique way of interacting with fans and was the reason for their first billboard award(sadly for a while that was the only thing they would get recognized for overseas and the coverage on them kind of treated them like a spectacle/quirky trend rather than treating them as artists). When BTS debuted things like behind the scenes cuts in k-media where mostly if not all the time reserved for tv or exclusive dvd/blueray fan kits companies released. They used it as a way to connected to fans, the same with twitter there wasn't really any kpop twitter accounts back the day. So they used social media ,youtube ,livestreams to communicate with fans before it became industry standard and because army could easily get access to this media it quickly got translated and it's a very important piece to the way the community was built.(i just want to add in as well that fans were also translating their lyics and if anything is a bigger reason that ppl stuck around as fans) As a kpop fan of that time it was rare to see things like vlogs or behind the scenes that weren't heavily edited or easy to find online if you were an international fan and bts helped in lowering that barrier to access. Funnily enough due to this BTS has only recently begun to do more frequent TV appearances and many people believe is due to the fact that for a long time they didnt due to how broadcasted stations treated them before. An important last note is that they briefly discussed this in suga's suchwita show like a few days ago. A member from the group 17 jokingly commented that because of BTS now every group has to do like youtube videos and stuff, suga apologized then for starting that trend that now every group takes part in.

kookie_why

Dear Jared and Jordan - glad it's finally here!!! That show stopping 3J's magic -!!!!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻💜💜💜It lures you in so fast, grabs you and you smile happily while watching on replay without realizing what the heck did just happen! When you get the chance I recommend watching PTD LA the whole concert. I was attending ( still pinching myself) the night of the recording- Day 2 and when Butter started I knew we were about to witness something extraordinary and I was so right! The cheers and screams from the whole SoFi Stadium when Meghan started singing were so welcoming! I do truly hope that everyone experience that , one of the kind, purple wave ARMY- there's nothing like it ! Ps. Thank you kindly dear Jared and Jordan for working hard on giving us beautiful content. Stay safe and Borahae to all 💜

Biljana Monteleone

1) This was so much fun - all of this content is always going to bring laughs! 2) You are the only ones I do Patreon for, and I definitely watch to the end! 3) Y'all need to watch some Charlie Chaplin and dig into his history. He's not just any comedian, and he was kicked out of the US when he was blacklisted. 4) Jordan - if you're already at the stage of saying hello periodically at the gym, I'd say move on to asking about getting coffee or a drink - I suggest giving options because not everyone drinks. Good luck! 5) Jordan's got a bias wrecker in Suga!!!

Cassandra

Hi J&J, awesome reaction as usual and loved it! So here’s my comment! On Jordan’s gym crush, I want so much to put together a BTS playlist for you but I find myself taking out songs that you all have not gotten to yet. That will be a work in progress hahah. I’m giving advice from the perspective of a young female, same age group: just smile and say hi. Going to the gym myself and seeing people, there are a lot of creepy guys that just stare or try to act like they are working out near you but are staring at your body parts. It’s refreshing when a guy with a nice smile just says hello like a person. Another angle you can take, is recommend a great workout song (BTS of course!) and go for it. You never know, you could have an Army gym crush in the making hahahaha. I’ve seen it happen in real life, Army meeting, getting married, etc. Keep us updated! On the content piece, BTS were always intentional about sharing the behind the scenes and being close to us (Army.). Remember, they did things differently than most k-pop group norms of the time which made them stand out. As someone that watched their content prior to debut as well during the time they shared, they were very open with the progress on things and also sharing their own 1-1 experiences with us as well. Considering I do not stan another group or have been a part of another group’s progress like I have BTS, going off of what I see, it seems that many kpop idols of their time leverage invites to variety shows or other formats. Although BTS would accept invitations for interviews here and there (even when the hosts may not have been kind to them), they were big on doing lives with Army, responding to comments, and filming their discussions and reactions to things. Which eventually they put together Run BTS, and that is a classic staple content. On the live performances + dance practices:: The first live performance you showed on mcountdown was really nice to see you all watch. You’ll notice no Army bomb here as the version that is well known did not exist until about 2 years after their debut. Instead, there were the light sticks (small yellow) from their red bullet tour that were available during the first portion of their tour. For the behind the scenes, I believe that BTS is always authentic even if they tape something more than once. I’m sure they do not mind it when it’s for Army. I also have to say, yes you will see that Tae will do the falling off the shoulder as a style piece. He did it during YTC Busan as well (remember Butterfly) and also a few other performances that are recent. It’s one of his signature pieces haha. That costume dance performance was so fun. Those girls on that last performance were so lucky. When I first saw this I was like can we please trade places for 1 hour hahaha. FYI: That little video detour you took is Look Here as the background song. PLEASE DO A REACTION. Lol I know I’m saying it to death here but it is one of those. I SAW YOU JORDAN BOPPING YOUR HEAD. I have already made a note in your dms (again!). And we are right on schedule, it is on the Dark & Wild album. You're Welcome!

Melie

to be honest, i dont think their lack of intention to cause harm is what mattered? to me at least. like, i never saw them as being creepy or misogynistic, but the music video specifically bothered me personally, because they just kept chasing this lady that was obviously not interested. that combined with the concept of "i cant control my hormones around you" has the potential to normalize a certain kind of behavior, whether they wanted that or not yknow? they didnt deserve the amount of hate they got, but i think that them using that to educate themselves sets a great example for young men and boys. and it made them aware of how large of a platform they actually had, and how to be careful with the messages they're trying to send. the song and performance is super fun, and i look back on it fondly regardless of how i feel about the video :D

selena stinky

I'm just 4 minutes in but...I think at any age crushes are a thing and I agree it's nature to look at attractive people as they walk by or glance at them. Im attracted time men but I'll also look at an attractive woman and appreciate them. I'll compliment women I see that have beautiful make up or pretty hair. Clothes I wish I could rock. I do agree there's a difference in glancing and making someone uncomfortable and that just comes with age and reading people and respecting how someone feels but also at 14 and hormones are raging that's not always something someone has grasped yet. That comes with time and good people around teaching respect etc. WOH is simply about that feeling I don't think it's misogynist at all. But that is also just my opinion.

CreativeFe fe

Wait, you don't call it a fringe too in the US? Just "bangs"? It's so true that you learn something new every day 😂 To answer your questions, BTS largely invented having this huge amount of behind the scenes and extra content, and they were also the first ones to use social media as their main promotion tool and main way to engage with fans. It's not an understatement that much of their success in the early years comes from this! And the song you heard during the Halloween performance behind the scenes was Look Here, off of Dark & Wild. It's another iconic b-side that I'm sure you heard mentioned a lot... Soooo, about that Dark & Wild album review... 🤔🤔😂😂

soyaspinsxxx

The song you heard in the background is Look Here, it’s one of my FAVS, gives me blurred lines vibes by Robin Thicke. Also… YAL DIDN’T know who Charlie Chaplin was !? Omggg , he’s an iconic comic figure one of the most popular and loved silent movie star who did comedy roles. His look with the little mustache is very iconic

Sabrina K

I know it's shocking for some people but BTS smack each other's butts all the time, its a normal thing to them. Jordan, believe me when I say I learn new things from you each time I watch a reaction. Its not bulls***. Today I learnt about Gym crushes from you 😏😏😏

Serendipity

Thanks for the reaction!! For your question about if all groups do behinds, if you could see the last interview of the suga's program with Hoshi (from Seventeen) they has a funny moment because Suga was apologysing about this, how bts start doing things like (behinds, variety programs, awards perfeormances out of this world, and so many extra content) so the other groups, if they don't want to stay behind, they need to star do it the same, so Hoshi said that it's not just dance and sing, now they need to do so many things and while they did some of them, he asked himself HOW bts could do all of this and at the same time sing and dance perfectly. They put the bar so high and Suga without laugthing say sorry so many times. xD By the way!! You saw the coreo many times, but you didn't notice that on the J-hope part, he pulls V and then pulls Suga an JK who had arms tied like if they were the door of the car an put V inside the car, just when he is singing Ladys first. If you remember on the music video he opens a real car door. They are always on the details. :)

teresa

As always - thank you so much for the deep-dive! The review and reflection between reactions was good for the whole community here and allowed for really constructive exchanges. As for the chaos that is BTS…. I think of them as human metronomes. They each have their own rhythm and personality, and definitely go rogue now and then, but if you leave them alone for a minute they naturally get back in sync with each other. The gym crush(es) - just smile and keep us posted!💜

SilvrArmy

I love you guys and your reactions, I'm a Patreon too! I think that what you call bangs, is what we call a fringe, it refers to the front part of the hair. And if you look at J-hope when he says this, he is playing with the front of his hair.

Jodie Darcy

The password could not be more adequate, this is PURE CHAOS. I think it is one of the most chaotic BTS content out there and I LOVE IT. You're right, the hormones were running through their body during this era 😂 "IT IS V'S WORLD and we're living in it". I couldn't have said it any better and V wilding out is one of my favorite thing ever. I find it especially funny that the move of his jacket off his shoulders is now a move associated to Jimin 😂 (you'll see during your journey that in recent performances, Jimin is usually the one shrugging off his jacket off his shoulders) And, well... Butt-smacking IS one of BTS’ love languages Also, I find that adding the visual experience is always beneficial. Even when I don't love a BTS song on my first listen, I end up listening to it as well because it grows on me as I watch more choreography videos and live performances 💜 Btw, BTS are indeed the ones who launched the trend of filming everything. They were pioneers in this sense. Nowadays, all idol groups follow their example. As for a piece of advice on approaching a gym crush... I mean, you both look charming and kind so I believe that with a simple approach proposing a drink (in a respectful manner) you could score any gym crush Jordan. And I was here for BTS in the start but now I'm here for you two so lots of love 💜

Sascha

SAME EXACT THOUGHT RUNNING THROUGH MY MIND

Sascha

Hi also from the UK 💜👍

Beth Elliot⁷

The song that played during the behind the scenes of the Halloween video is called Look here. It’s in the album dark and wild. I feel like it’s an underrated song. RMs verse basically drives us all crazy when we hear it 😂 it’s really good! When you hear it you won’t be able to resist dancing along to it. I recommend you guys check it out. I think Jared will really like it!

Ale

Love the reaction! I've been cleaning out my patreon, but your subscription is definitely a keeper! I can't wait until you react to more Yoongi, you'll love him even more! His entire D-2 album is a thing of beauty. It'd be great if you guys could do an album reaction or something before he releases his new music! I'm honestly a little afraid for the release. D-2 blew my mind, so who knows what this one will do!

doiley3

Charlie Chaplin - Serial Killer!!! Far from offending anyone but seriously???

mona8080

I love your guys’ appreciation for Suga, “sprinkle of Suga” and now “Suga slide.” When I first became army and didn’t know whose voice belonged to whom, I would always do the stank face anytime Suga’s part came on. When I saw who was rapping, I couldn’t believe that flow came from that person. The song is Look Here and I’ve commented before how it’s in my top 5 and I hope you guys react to it. War of Hormone hasn’t been one of my favorites but I so agree that whilst watching the outside dance practice, it sounded better.

Skylar T⁷

The song you all stop at behind the scenes of Halloween is called Look Here which is also part of the album Dark and Wild is a song that also talks about women's charms I would love for you to react to the presentation of the festa 2020 💜💜💜

Wendy stephesn

Excellent episode, guys! I really appreciated how you let a week pass between Pts. 1 and 2 and used that time to allow discussion to occur, to inform Pt. 2, and then for Pt. 2 content to reflect back on that discussion. Great way to engage both the song and the issues it raises. Thanks, as always!!

Lisa W

What a great coincidence you guys stopped to ask if all idol groups did the behind the scene stuff? On Suga's latest episode of Suchwita (please react to them all 😉) he actually talks about trends BTS started due to them just kinda being over achievers lol and how now newer groups are expected to do the same 😅 he even apologizes for basically starting so many trends and setting the bar so high (its such a funny moment).

JessNunez⁷💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I think all this content gives you a deep taste as to why we call BTS so chaotic. I swear they give them such complicated choreography because otherwise they are jumping everywhere. They handled the controversy in such a good way but it’s a shame we have such few performances of this bop. No idea how to approach a gym crush other then respectfully.

Maria Chavez

Yeah I really love the energy that they brought to the war of hormone performances and how it was a bit different each time. Also the styling was a nice change from the usual school uniforms, I feel like it was the first step in them carving out their individual styles and personalities. I know there's a lot of desire to have seen this performed again more recently but I actually think them no longer performing it makes those original performances more special and I also think they've outgrown the song, I don't believe they could put that same energy and vibe into the performances as they did back in 2014

Alice

OMG! YOU DON'T KNOW WHO CHARLIE CHAPLIN IS!!!?????

Mabelmoon

Pls react to House of Army this is hilarious. Mom j-hope…. 🤣💜

So Da

That was fun!!! Those are some iconic dance practices. They never get old. Jared - smile and say hi. I'm sure there are a lot of ladies who will fall for your charm. All the best.

Kecia ⁷

It’s funny u guys are the Only people (other than BTS) I watch a video until the end. Like the dun dun dun song is now ingrained into my mind 😂 Btw there is this video from Boracity magazine called ‘Trends BTS created’ that show boy only did Bts start a lottt of the behind the scene and log videos, but also Twitter and fan engagement and their own variety show. Before, variety shows were only done by tv hosts and idols were invited. Since bts were not invited cuz they were unknown they made their own like Runbts. Since then many other companies did the same. Also if u look at the most popular kpop groups today they all opened their twitter accounts ik around 2017 when BTS won Top Social Artist at the BBMAs for their social media engagement. That started a movement of idol and fan engagement on Twitter. Boracity has many videos and is very educational and accurate. I hope u one day check em out!💜💜💜 Btw Jordan good luck ur crush! Gotta be smooth like buttaaa😉

Maya001

Goodness it is pretty obvious him slapping his own butt is part of the choreography because he does it in the exact same times every single time.

Kimberly W.

Now you should listen to "21st Century Girl" since that's the result of what they learned from this controversy. I LOVE that song.

Raevan21

Love this song and reaction. Few things: fringe [as we say here in UK] = bangs, and for you youngsters Charlie Chaplin was a British film comedian/composer/filmmaker in the early days of silent cinema. First ever actor featured in Time Magazine. Compatriot is American Buster Keaton who was also a comedic actor/stuntman/filmmaker, always acted with a deadpan/expressionless face. He really cracked me up! If you ever get the chance watch them, they're hilarious. OG's of cinema.

Singa7⁷

BTS has a long history or spanking each other. Here is a compilation video of them smacking each others butts and doing some other questionable things. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTaOTkBplYY

Chris Augustine

interesting. I never heard that. thanks for sharing it

Chris Augustine

I always laugh when RM gets smacked by Suga. 😂

Lisa Thomas Le

well clearly you guys need to warch a BTS slapping each others butts compilation now :D

Katrin

I love watching all the versions of the dance practices, truly it takes a couple watches to notice everything. For the WAR version i recommend watching “bts dance practice things you didn’t notice”. ARMY pick up on the little details you missed, it’s so fun to watch

Daniela

Love to watch all the live performances I haven’t before! Thanks for a great ride! Love this song! 💜💜💜💜🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽

Alicia

I'm Australian, we say fringe instead of bangs. I believe it's UK/European slang. I've started saying bangs a lot more now, especially online just because I got tired of having to explain it - but now I have to explain what bangs are when I say it around other Aussies LOL

Crystal

Yeah I’m Scottish and we only ever say Fringe 💜

Abbie

Oh my gosh this was such a ride! I had so much fun! That war of hormone Halloween dance practice is my favourite out of all the Halloween ones, the costumes are simply amazing. Suga makes me laugh every time, I don’t think anyone could of portrayed Chucky better. Fringe is just the British English or European word for Bangs. And Jordan when you say a few gym crushes… haha. Just be your authentic self, say hi.. who doesn’t like authenticity right? Thank you for making my Saturday night even better… lots of love 💜🫶🏻

Abbie

V most times will wear a sweater of the jacket over another shirt or jacket... it's his style. At a rehearsal in Busan, he wore a red shirt that the guys kept pulling off of him to expose his shoulders.

Daphne Schaffer

One thing you will hear the guys say is that JK mimics the other members when he knows the audience likes it. After Jimin started pulling up his shirt JK tried it, V slapping buts so he slaps his own. In one show Jimin wanted JK to admit it cause he (Jimin) wouldn't do it as much because JK started doing it all the time. Although it is true they just wanted to hear JK say it out loud that he wasn't the originator and he copied them... in most things and tried to do it better. That competitive spirit you know!!! Here is just one video, there are several, it is funny too: https://youtu.be/QiD1KfnR0yI

Daphne Schaffer

This was soooo much fun! I don't know how many times I laughed watching this. Thank you for the reaction💜

Jean

V with a lollipop is already ICONIC! And yes fake bubblegum too.

Yeontae

You ever notice the types of women that get mad over alleged misogyny are the types of women, men aren't even talking to, or about? Just an observation. This song was very complementary. Just young men expressing how females make them feel. How is that wrong? They're basically saying males should not be attracted to females nor should they EVER express how they feel.

Angel Williams

Ahhh you saved my Saturday with this reaction. Loved it. For me, your videos can be 3 hours long, I dont care. I watch them all and always till the end! Thank you, you guys are hilarious Borahae 💜💜💜 PS. Still I was a bit shocked, that you dont know, who Charlie Chaplin was ;-)

Noll⁷

Suga said in Sushwita ep. 4 that BTS were the first group to document their journey on social media; the BTS episode and Bangtan Bomb and now almost all the other kpop idols do that. And also Fringe is another word for bangs

Amlyse Lyseam⁷ OT7

Yes! This is a great recommendation

Ash

Jimin moonwalking dressed as Charlie Chaplin is no coincidence. In a segment Jhope & Jimin did for MTV they had to pick 10 songs. Jhope picked Michael Jackson’s You Are Not Alone and Jimin picked Michael Jackson’s Man in the Mirror. https://www.bangtansubs.com/videos/2018/4/3/180403-mtv-select-10-j-hope-amp-jimin Jimin goes on to say how he watched documentaries about Michael Jackson and there he would have learnt that Michael Jackson was a massive Charlie Chaplin fan. Michael Jackson himself dressed as Charlie Chaplin multiple times, most notably for the 1995 song Smile. It was a beautiful cover MJ did of a song written by Charlie Chaplin (who was a silent era movie star - actor/comedian/director/composer). 1995 being the year Jimin was born too.

Karen O'Halloran

Y’all saved my day with this one. We love you🫶🏼🫶🏼

Michelle Khedhayir

Yes to this advice 😂 slow & steady wins the race

Ash

Sooo V performs with a lollipop, alllll the time lol. Lollipop in Vegas PTD, lollipop in dynamite dance practice. Sometimes it looks like he’s chewing gum, but he’s not lol, you’ll see that eventually. He’s too much lol, but a great performer, very entertaining :) I prefer more of their r&b/hip hop songs, but as any bts song, it grows on you because they’re amazing performers. And these dance practices/performances were no exception. Love their humor, love their energy, love their commitment. Because of that, their material always turns out good if not great

Selina T

lmao isn't fringe just another word for bangs? Maybe that's a difference between American english and UK english. I'm from Europe so we usually use the same vocabulary as UK

Maya

Jordan, just be yourself and say hi!! Hahaha let us know if there’s any progress hehehe

oh gosh so much to say about this one. 1) as far as i know, yes bts kind of started all the behind-the-scenes stuff. plus all the interactive content with fans in general. they couldn't get on stages and promotions in media so they reached us their own way. the way kpop industry promotes is very different now than it was back in the day. i watched most of it happen in real-time. in fact, in the new suchwita ep, which i highly recommend yall watch, the guest actually says something along those lines. he's in a group that debuted after bts and talked about how much they influenced the industry. 2) yes this was the beginning of an era of jimin that is often referred to lovingly as emo fboi jimin. he was a menace during this time. jimin's actually talked about this era of himself before and it's really interesting (and a little sad honestly) I'm sure you'll see the video eventually. 3) tae absolutely does love a good sweater/hoodie hanging off of himself. he does it so much even now. i think it's really cute on him. 4) i agree that maknae line kinda takes over this song a little bit which makes sense when you remember they're the youngest of the group. they were quite literally in their war with hormones. jungkook was 17-18 and v/jimin were 18-19 depending on when the video was taken during the year. 5) the members love to slap each other's asses. it's pretty hilarious. they do it a lot as punishments for games. jungkook in particular likes to do it which is terrible for the others because he hits HARD lmao. 6) tae as the joker is great. the dude is an amazing actor and he plays villains really well specifically.

dyxqdthyfv

I was just about to comment this 🤣💜

Princilla

yes fringe is another word for 'bangs', it's what we use in the UK!

imtachki

Really duh 🙄😂

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

Fringe is another name for bangs (the hairstyle). It's more slang.

Charlene

"Fringe" is the part of the hair that we in America call "bangs" - the shorter hair across the forehead

Amy Rustand

the song in the behind scenes is "Look here" and its in the same album you should definitely react to it

Amina

hey jared and jordan, i would totally turn around if either of you walked by me 😂

ellesdope

Perfect Joy but wasn’t that Suga saying that in an interview? It would work on me! 😂🫶🏻💜

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

So so sweet Cheryl. I practically scold him.

Liz Torres

Jordan, in all seriousness, you have a warm personality and a great smile, that’s all you need. Go up to her smile and introduce yourself. And keep us updated, you asked us for advice and we’ll all want to know the ending.

Joy Jenkins

I stopped this immediately. Cheryl says Jordan, flash that beautiful smile and a simple “hi” and continue with your workout. You may find that someone is coming to the gym at the same time as you for a reason! Just open that door and let them decide if they want to walk through 😁🫶🏻💜🇨🇦 Jared, your my guy 😉🫶🏻💜🇨🇦

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

Approaching Gym Crush Jin Version. 1. Approach crush 2. “You know BTS?”

Joy Jenkins

I'm ready!!! Also gym crush?? Offer to spot or ask for a spot, be funny and take it easy. Say hi the next couple times and then ask for her number. Also this can change if she shows interest and she initiates a date first, good luck💜💜

dulseokbangtan

answering your question guys recently in the new ep of suchwita (which i recommend!) suga mentioned how the BTS episodes, bangtan bombs, and that behind the scenes type of content was all started by bts, then the rest of the groups started to do the same thing lol

Butterful

Now, I haven’t watched your video. I just read the video post. I may be totally off here. That could have meant something completely different. I wont know until I watch, but if I guessed it right…Jordan…👀👀👀👀

Liz Torres

Wait… Jordan has a “Gym Crush”. My baby bro??? Let me find out. Tell him I’m coming over to meet this girl. I’m the oldest and it’s my job. I won’t embarrass him, I promise…just a casual conversation woman to woman…🤭🤓🥹😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣. He’s growing up so fast 😭😭😭. Jared, you better not!!! I can’t handle another 😂😘🫰🏼Love you guys so much💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Liz Torres
