I’ve never shard this set before. I’m not sure what was holding me back but it is time to show them to the world. They are double exposures of beautiful Sedona, AZ and myself in my backyard, on 35mm redscale film.

Progressive body paint series

This beautiful piece was painted by Pashur House last month for a comic convention in Phoenix. The theme for the show was “ancient cultures” and my painter used “Atlantis” as the theme. It was such a rush standing nude in front of so many people for hours, but I loved it!

This was taken on Sunday at the top of Capitol Butte (aka Thunder Mountain), one of Sedona’s most prominent landmarks. I’ve always wanted to see the view from the top, what a rush!

These were an absolute joy to create and I plan on making prints available of these, as well.  I am so delighted that every single shot came out lovely; that is such a rare occurrence for self portrait film photos!  Which ones are your favorite?

I hope you love these as much as I do.  My soul feels thoroughly nourished and I'm so happy I finally got this roll of film developed from August!

Being nude in nature is so freeing

I love going to cool locations and taking photographs.  Here is another self-portrait (digital), dancing on some rocks with a dry wash receding into the foreground.  Can you tell how happy I am? :)

Here is the digital version of the self-portraits I posted yesterday.  Which do you prefer?

I took these nude film self-portraits after a desert rain.

The water reflects the sky and my nude form is suspended in between .  I love the quality of the film and will be rolling out other shots from this solo self-portrait shoot over the next few days :)

I took some digital shots at this location as well, but nothing compares to the quality of this film.  I think it was Portra 400

How pretty would these be as prints!?  I definitely need to get my Etsy print shop back up and going...
