Pride of the Predator

A couple folks recommended drawing a Predator (Yautja) as a monster this month, and I couldn't be happier with the suggestion! I saw the first Predator movie when I was 11 and it was A LOT. Blood and gore and skinned bodies and big, hot, sweaty men and a muscular, creepy, super-cool alien monster hunting them. What wasn't to love? I got ridiculously into Predator and Alien over the years, collecting figures, reading and buying the old Darkhorse comics and drawing them a bunch too! I've kept up with all the films too, really enjoying Prey and the animated Killer of Killers. Very interested in the newest Predator flick Badlands coming out next month! Anyway, they're such distinct monsters, I love their code of honor and of course I find them terribly sexy too. I think I did the big guy service here and spent maybe too long on this piece getting it just right. XD
