Bon Voyage! | Our Reaction to Episode 1 (Season 1)

And ARMY, as you’ve been telling us for months…this is RIGHT UP OUR ALLEY. As college-trained sociologists, we have always been fascinated with how humans interact with the world, its many institutions, and people from other cultures. One of our all time favorite quotes comes from the one and only Mark Twain:
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of (wo)men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.”
TRAVEL FEEDS OUR SPIRITS AND BRINGS US CLOSER TO TRULY RECOGNIZING OUR SHARED HUMANITY.
Seeing BTS travel to Bergen, Norway, was an absolute treat for us. We got to witness a few different things:
1. RM’s father-like instincts on full display (especially when Jimin forgot his carry-on suitcase on the bus!).
2. Each member utilizing their problem-solving skills and working together to ensure a safe arrival in Norway.
3. Jin’s cooking prowess.
4. And perhaps most enjoyable and heartwarming of all…the unconditional love that each member has for one another. NOTHING, and we mean NOTHING, gets in the way of their celebrating a member’s birthday.
ARMY, as always, we truly appreciate your love and support (WE’LL CONTINUE SAYING THIS UNTIL THE END OF TIME). Haha! I love your reaction. And your identifying what tge members are to the group. I think I hear RM is Dad, Jim is Mom and Suga is Granpa 🤣 I think Suga is like the got It all together oldest sibling! Also I am From NY, I have traveled from NY to Cali, Hawaii and Canada. One day I would like to travel abroad ❤️ Interesting story is my brother had a nightmare about spiders in Hawaii and I woke up to him beating me up. I often tell this story when he thinks Im mean 🤣🤣

In Izmir(Turkey) I lost my group and I needed to find our meeting place. Although my english is not good, I was able to ask for help. I was in meeting place on time😀
