WATCH HERE: VIMEO

ARMY GOLD…thank you for selecting this extraordinary song for us to react to. As ARMY Gold Member, Cheryl Lambert, wrote in her comment, “The lyrics are the most accurate description of depression [we] think [we have] ever heard!”

SPOT ON CHERYL!

The reflective nature of this song, combined with the deep underlying sense of pain, empathy and hope, gave us chills. And watching the members walk in unison on stage at the end of their live performance was POWERFUL.

For those of you who have already shared your stories with us about how BTS found you, we thank you for your courage and strength…we have read through all of your comments. For anyone who hasn’t already shared their story with us, and would like to, we welcome you to comment under this video or send us a private message!

This song.... makes me just stop... and breath. Breath deeply, and let my heart open up. To let in all the feels that help me overcome and grow to move forward. It was soo nice to see you guys reacting to this song. And live reactions. And the kind words you said touched my soul. You guys are such great human beings. I can't wait until you get to PTD! 💜💜💜 Borahae 💜💜💜💜

Wow this song gets me every time. I'm not necessarily in a blue place right now in my life, but I still cried watching those performances, because this song can so easily take me back to remembering not just those times in the past for me, but especially now knowing more about what the members were really dealing with during that time, it tugs at my heart even more thinking about that, and then of course thinking about all of the pain and suffering that the pandemic was for so many people. It's such a beautiful song and I'm so glad that I got to experience it live 4 times. It was definitely a HIGHLIGHT for every show. I'm not sure if you guys have ever gotten to the PTD concerts, but if not, wait til you see the Black Swan performance at PTD. It has to be one the most brilliant and beautiful choreography ever made, I GUARANTEE you will be blown away by it. I almost hope you haven't gotten to it, so I can witness it right when you release it instead of as I'm trying to catch up. As always I just love how much care and respect and diligence you put into your reactions and most importantly how much you care about the lyrics. I agree with I think it was Cyndy, this song is one of the best descriptors of depression I've ever read and then these 7 angels gave us their voices to deliver a performance that touches your heart. Thank you!!!<3

I have suffered with anxiety and depression since the third grade. It has been and always will be one of the hardest obstacles for me to overcome. Listening to music and writing are how I allow myself to process these emotions when they become too much. Within the song, there were lyrics that so accurately describe a single moment in my life, "Absently, I stand with vacant eyes. It's not like me, this moment. I just have no fear", I was looking at myself in the mirror and felt nothing, which is unlike me because I normally fully embrace any and all emotions, but I was devoid of any including fear, the moment didn't last but 10 minutes or so but having felt it at least once in my life, I have a greater appreciation for everything, including this song. This song speaks to so many of us, including yourselves, and I thank V and the rest of the people involved in creating this song for allowing us a way to work through our own emotions and get to know them better and the struggles they too face. If I may, I would love to be able to share with you guys one of the poems I wrote, I love to use metaphors and imagery to describe emotions so that anyone audience can read my work and either place emotions to what's being described or simply just see a scene playing out. Let me know if you are interested at all, no pressure if you are not.

This song, everytime it comes up on my Playlist I stop what I'm doing to be able to appreciate it and breathe it in. It's such a heartfelt song. Also I love the voice and style of all 7 members, but I also believe that each member hits you differently when they sing depending on the song. In this particular case same as "just one day" Jimin and V did it for me.

I am excited to watch your reaction to this! I am new to Army Gold but definitely not new to Army or your reaction videos. Excited to watch.

The way I wanted you to let the rest of the PTD video play so you could see how EFFORTLESSLY the song rolled into Black Swan and the freaking PERFORMANCE. My Jaw dropped during blue and grey and HIT THE FLOOR when Black Swan happened.

One of my fav songs from BE album. I have never watch the interview with Suga before. It was nice to see the two of them. Their relationship is so unique from what i saw from Bon Voyage and when they were paired up in Run BTS.

I’m so sorry you had to let that special little one go. That’s the hardest thing to do and it’s gut wrenching. The shelter is very lucky to have someone so caring as a volunteer. I hope that and this community helps you heal. 🤗💜🇨🇦

This song and RM’s song “Winter Flower” with Younha always make me cry…they are such emotional songs and it feels like they’re singing to my soul. 💜💜 I have been a Patreon since you first started and just upgraded to Gold. I am from Phoenix AZ. I am in my 50’s. I have always struggled with depression and anxiety and I feel like a lot of people are basically “what have you got to be sad about” but it’s not just “sadness”. When I was in high school I was so bullied that I just didn’t want to live anymore. I put all the strength I had in studying and then left home at 18. Out of 4 kids in the family I am the only one that moved away from family. Later in life I also went through a period of not wanting to be here anymore, this time working through it with medication and counseling, and also finding my passion in helping small dogs. While volunteering at the local animal shelter they brought in this little 2.5 pound ball of matted grey fur that had been half strangled and left for dead in a garbage can. Thankfully she had enough strength to call out and someone heard her as they walked by. Anyway long story short she was severely neurological due to the strangulation, as well as partially deaf and blind. For 3 years that little tiny girl went everywhere with me, she became a part of me. Sadly her neurological issues got so bad that in January I had to let her go. I felt like a part of me had died and I cried for days. As I was scrolling through Instagram one day a picture of Jungkook popped into my timeline. Not knowing who he, or BTS were, somehow the song Epiphany by Jin magically started playing. Although it’s not about loss parts of the song just touched my heart. This began my passion for BTS. I love the fact that they sing about things that are actually important. Someone I will never personally know, or meet, has the ability to make me feel better. Make me laugh, cry, get angry (at the haters, etc). I listen to them every day. When I found your first reaction on You Tube ( and I have seen many other reactors) yours is the most thorough, most heartfelt. I feel like I am on this fantastic journey that will never end…so much content in the past and literally daily! Lol. Keep up the amazing work. Forever a fan of yours! 🫶💜

Suga and V are not very similar personality wise but in some ways they are. They both are from Daegu and they are both from families that weren't all that well off financially ( it's my understanding, that the others come from more middle class backgrounds with the exception of Jin, whose father is a CEO). V has a lot of admiration for Suga and his rap, and I think Suga can appreciate V's musicality. But Suga is too introverted to show it much. I think, over the years they learned to understand each other better and see that they are both somewhat more sensitive than some of the others.

My bias is OT7

Great reaction guys!💜. I love this dong and the interview is priceless. Suga and V have such an interesting dynamic… there’s a special thing Suga does with V that stems from Bon Voyage 2 whenever these two disagree with each other. I won’t spoil it, but over the years, Suga still does it🤯 unexpectedly, and you can’t help but lol.
