At 9:00 when y'all point out the beautiful symphony that plays, it’s actually a part of RM's solo ‘intro song’ for the album Dark & Wild called Intro: What Am I to You. Which I used to play on repeat! He gets super passionate and it always leaves me wanting more. Its also one of the few that has been performed live! In fact you guys should do a small series of their “intro/outro” songs. There are some GEMS, I can def make a list if need be lol

I would LOVE to see you do full album reviews at the end of each era like you did for Jack in the Box! BTS’ title tracks are insanely amazing, but their B-Sides are where you often find the real magic (and in some cases are where they’re able to experiment a bit with different genres and sounds). Just off the top of my head, I can think of a few songs from 2 Cool 4 Skool, O!RUL8,2?, and Skool Luv Affair that I think you’d enjoy (Like, Paldogangsan, Spine Breaker, Miss Right), but I also think that the beauty of BTS’ discography is that people fall in love with songs they’d never expect to, and it’s always the best surprise to see which songs those will be for different people.

Love you both! Thanks for another amazing video! Please react to “tomorrow” by BTS. This song is from this era and it is so moving and poetic. When i first heard this song and read the lyrics i swear to you i replayed it daily. Its so .. POWERFUL. Despite my hardships at that time i kept going with BTS in my ear reminding me about tomorrow. This is such a beautiful truth!! I honestly can't remember how my life was before I became an army and what did I enjoy aside from my family. I would never want to go back. Being an army is a lifestyle and we only understand each other. I used to try and "recruit" new army lol but it never happened. That's when I realized BTS has to be the one to do it. Remember the jump he did at Lollapalooza when jumping out of the Jack in the box? I know that he set off from a member here but there's just SO much power to his jumps. We see it in his solo stages of Boy meets evil (you'll get to that one at a later time). So jumping high just standing on the ground is second nature to him. Always impressed

Hello Jared and Jordan! When I first saw that you are going to watch Boy in luv at the 2019 MMAs I thought…oh nooooo😱…! And it’s just because the MMA performance of 2019 is iconic! 37 minutes of pure power, joy and surprises! This is the best performance of an artist that I have ever seen before and I know some non Armys who agreed with this opinion. By the way, every Army agrees whatsoever. There is a saying amongst Armys that says, Oh, it’s very nice from BTS, that they allowed MMAs having an award show within their concert! And it’s so true. I think we will never see such a big thing again. All their other MMA and MAMA appearances where great, too. And the scale increased from year to year, but MMA 2019 will for ever be the best thing I’ve ever seen in my life. But you will get there and I’m looking forward to watch it again with you guys. I completely agree with you Kecia! That performance is crazy but... and I speak especially for Dionysus...if you can't recognize what you're listening to...you lose half the magic! (I don't want to spoil anything for Jared and Jordan but I think you get what I'm referring to!) So I too think that performance can wait a little longer. There are so many more to watch in the meantime...there's certainly no shortage of choice!

I'm amazed at their energy, too. Maybe that's why some overseas fans call them crackheads. BTS has received a lot of ridicule and malicious comments since their debut. At that time, the public was very used to the groups that debuted in Big 3 companies quickly succeed from the first album and occupy the idol market. There must have been so much ridicule and attack everywhere because people literally thought it was almost impossible for BTS to succeed. After overcoming all those hardships, BTS must have learned the importance of their fans. Sometimes they have schedules that are not important, but they always say. I think the fans will like it. When they film a music video, they'll think about how much the fans will like it when it's released. A real appreciation for the fans seems to be part of that energy. (I wrote my first 2 comments on patreon and it took over an hour since English is not my language, sorry for the mistakes I'm still learning.)

I remember being really surprised at the 2019 "Boy in Luv" performance. In 2019, BTS' popularity was very high, and in 2014, they were just one of many not-yet-successful, potentially disappearing rookies. Choosing their song from five years ago, I think it was very cool, and it showed that they were different from other groups. I became a fan of BTS in 2017, and I didn't like their early songs that much. The reason seems to be that their ambition for success and their fear of failure were too big that they kind of scared me. In 2014, they wanted to be seen as strong and manly men, but on the stage in 2019, I can see they were really strong and confident even though they were smiling, relaxed. That 2019 Boy in Luv performance made me starting to like the song so I relate to Jordan.

When you get to "Just One Day" and you do the dance practice, there are 2 versions. In the Appeal version, its best to watch V. He was trying so hard to stay in character and he even gets really red in the face. Some of the dance practices have more than one and it can be funnier. The reason "Boy In Luv" resonated with me so much is simply the type of music I grew up with. I grew up listening to heavy metal/ 80s rock. the first song I really paid attention to was "Dynamite" which to me is one of those songs that didnt really resonate with me. ive listened to pop as I grew up, but rock is my core. I wanted to see what else they had for music so I went to the channel, put on "Dynamite" and then just let it play. It was mostly just background for me at first. This song came on and immediately caught my attention. Especially Vs deep growl that he has in this song. This was the song that made me ARMY. Then it was down the hole from there.

I always have to watch your videos until the very end because your Outro is a bop! It‘s funny that Jordan said he would‘ve liked BIL more when the MMA 2019 Performance would have been the first time he‘s seen the song. That‘s exactly what happened to me. After I’ve seen „these 7 funny guys“ on TikTok and was listening to BE, crying in the middle of a dog walk in the forest to Blue&Grey, I needed more. I searched on Youtube and the first video that came up was MMA 2019. Until this day it is my absolute favorite performance of all time. I still can‘t believe how they were able to breathe after this because it just gets more exhausting with every minute you watch it. 😅 Please don‘t feel pressured with all of our recommendations, but whenever you get to the point where you see this performance, PLEASE let us know what you think. Fun Fact: You mentioned that it must be hard as an artist to be switched on all the time in front of a camera. The first song of the MMA 2019 Performance is RM with „Persona“. This song is about the difficulty on how to keep track with your identity when you have these different Personas inside of you. The onstage persona and the offstage persona. For me Boy in love is A BTS song I just to only watch the dance practice and live performance. Specially that later one. For me it's the story between boy in love and boy with love what makes me listen the song. It really shows lyrics wise how the concept around love changes when you grow. What you really appriciate from some one. I'm not a teen any more but I just to be and I can relate the lyrics.

And that was only one part of the MMA 2019 performarce. The whole thing is 37 minutes long video and it's really something else. Over the years BTS has been performing in those award shows and every year the performance has become bigger. I don't think anything prepare you two for what is coming when you watch it. But I would recommend you to react first all the other they perform at MMA before watching it. You will understand more about ambitious and grazy things BTS did each time. So it's isn't a normal award show we have on west that's for sure. It feels more like BTS mini concert. 💜

You know I felt the same thing as well. I’ve seen both performances but never back to back like that. It was great to see their growth and I think in the 2019 performance it was so much energy because they’ve made it. It’s like they didn’t have to try as hard to prove themselves while also still trying to prove themselves (if that makes any sense). Like they’re always going to strive for the best and show their best but I think in 2019, due to being older, further in their career as well as more popular, that all played a lot into how energetic they were. I feel like they were a lot more comfortable with it which allowed for that extra energy.

MMA is like you said an awards, where BTS has many years the biggest show on the awards, like they give to them almos 20-30 min or even more to performance. It's something unusual for west awards, but BTS nailed many years. The 2019 performance is one of the most epic, but it's hard to say it's the better... xD 2.The performance of Boy in love in the MMA it makes sense when you see the whole performance, because after that they performance Boy With love, like you ask on the youtube reaction, the two songs are related. Not in music or type, but on the mesage. You remember on one of the videos you saw about the struggles thew past, when they talk about the criticism on the lyrics for machism and sexist, Boy with love is their statement telling the world they are concerned about feminism, respect and concerns about this things. Is a response to the boy in love, the evolution, on the first, boy in love is a boy demanding love in a harsh way. Even in the video you can see some actions that reflects that. But the scond one is a BOY WITH love, that means a healthy way of love, a thing of two persons, WITH not IN. 3.Finally, but not less important, the difference on the performances is sooo big, on the first you can see the anger, the strength, even sometimes agresive way of looking and doing. Also, the rap line has strong presence and the vocal line sometimes you can't hear their voices over the music. On the 2019 performance, they look more relaxed, even if you can se the strength on their dance, their faces are different, they smile, they are confident, they are grown. They don't need to be agressive, just being themselves on the stage. And, even if the rap line keeps being strong, on the MMA 2019 you can clearly hear the vocal line without doubt, their voices are clear and stronger. It's so great to see the evolution. I love the 2019 live performance at the MMA the best. The choreography is banging...say what you want...BTS is definitely a super professional group. They took a song recorded in 2014 and performed it 5 years later as if they just released it! WOW. I can't wait until you get to the 4 Cyphers. I was pulling on my locs because they had me going crazy. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've listen to all 4 Cyphers back to back! You guys have to do a reaction to the vocal line LIVE performance of "HOUSE OF CARDS" in February 2020 (5 minutes 1 second). It gives you a whole other side and diversity of BTS. I wasn't prepared for this and this performance made me feel so many different emotions. It has that R&B and Jazzy sound to it. Yes JungKook even scats (improvised jazz singing in which the voice is used in imitation of an instrument.) in this song blowing me completely away. Please check it out.

'Boy In Love' is a song that has never been on my playlist to be honest. Maybe I don't connect to it because of the lyrics, not a song I could jam to in the car. But I know they worked hard on it and at that time I assume as a new group they were experimenting with genres and reaching their diverse audience. I really enjoyed this reaction which killed me when you just played only one video of the MMA 2019.😃 I'll be 60 in November and you turned me into a angsty teenager again when I saw you played that video. I have been trying to be patient waiting for you to go through your journey but when you showed that I that's fine I had to scream. Can't wait until you delve into some of these award shows, some of the best performances I've ever seen in my life. And I lived through motown and the Michael Jackson era's . Just one day is the song that turned me into an army! So Glad you played this tonight. I hate to admit this to anyone but I saw BTS in concert in New York City back in 2015 the red bullet era. We drove down from Massachusetts and of course I was kind of annoyed annoyed but I'd love her so I went along with everything as mother's do. They actually performed in a convention room the stage was the same size as one that would be in a high school. They could barely move around and do any choreo 's . And sadly all I can remember of that concert ,was that I was so close that I could reach out and touch them. BUT Like the bored tired mom that I was through all the screaming and passing out I was reading a book !!!!!! Boy have I been kicking myself in the butt ever since!!!😂😂😭 My daughter listened to them constantly and tried her best to get me to like them. I was so busy back then as a single mom to 4 kids it's that I really didn't have much time. But like the story goes they found me when I needed the most and that's when I saw the MV For just one day then the dance practice and I was hooked forever....

Jordan I feel where you're coming from, BWL was a song that grew on me and there are a few songs that may not be my favorite or make the Playlist. AND THATS OK!!!! I love that you guys are following their journey from bottom to top! But omggg there’s so many songs that I just can’t wait for you guys to get to that I’m itching to see you react to 😭 I can’t wait for you guys to dive into the BU storyline and react to songs like I Need U and Run. Especially their music videos. Ughh there’s just so much content that it can be overwhelming especially when you’re first starting out because it’s almost like you don’t wanna miss anything! There are people who have been armys for years and there is still content that they’ve never seen. It truly is a black hole, never ending. Im so happy I’ve run into such genuine reactors like you guys. It’s so fun watching you see everything for the first time, and reminisce how I felt and reacted when I first seen any of their content. Being a baby army is truly a magical experience. You might not even realize how magical it really is until you look back on it.. BTS draw out so many emotions from you it really is a life experience of it’s own being a supporter of them. I can proudly say I’ve experienced being an army, it’s a once in a life time thing. So it really does feel special watching others get to experience it as well.. Even though they’re supported globally, if you’re standing on the outside looking in, meaning you may know of BTS but never dive into them.. you’ll never know the full extent of who and what they are. Just a note that the intro you loved in Boy In Luv that is both in their music video and is in the 2019 performance is a sample from the actual intro song to their album Dark and Wild. It's called "What Am I To You" by RM, and it's an awesome rap song. I hope you get to check it out some day. And also, since I didn't see anyone mentioning it. Boy In Luv is the English translated title. The actual title of this song in Korean actually directly translates to become "Manly man" It's an actual trope around that time where masculine men (in korean dramas, and comics) were seen as attractive. So they played up that trope, hence the uncomfotable "violence" we see in the music video too.

Hi guys great reaction! I personally love Boy in Luv so much because 1. I have grown up listening to rock from my dad and any song that incorporates rock elements makes me instantly fall in love with it. 2. When I first started getting into bts, I knew they experimented and dabbled in different genres, but I had only listened to their more recent music at the time, which were more poppy songs. When I heard this song it made fall in love with their versatility and made me so excited to listen to and discover rest of their discography, and they haven’t disappointed me since. 3. This choreo for Boy in Luv is one of my favorites! I love the boys’ energy, grittiness, charisma that they bring for every performance of it. The absolutely never fail to make me feel hyped! Another song from BTS’s catalog that has rock in it is Dionysus. It’s another one of my faves and if Jordan didn’t really like Boy in Luv then I think he will for sure love this one. I can’t wait for you to get to this one and the cyphers!

Thank you guys for today's reaction videos. Like other armys, "Boy in Luv" Isn't really in my top favorite songs but I absolutely love the live performances! This album "skool luv affair" is all about teen life and the happiness and love that you experience. Everytime I see early BTS songs and music videos, Always reminds me when Suga said that he couldn't believe they had fans back then because of the eyeliners and that they're just trying so hard! Lol! Also, him and the members cringes everytime they see their early music videos and performance and would make fun of eachother which would make them so funny and authentic. I can't wait for the cyphers! Please watch the live performances and the cypher pt 3 killer mix where Suga was sick but still performed and obviously killed it! I'm unsure If you've heard the inspiration behind the cyphers but one of it was about some "rappers" who made fun/mocks and look down on BTS, mainly the Rap Line. A rapper named B-Free consistently attacked the BTS members, criticising them for quitting their careers as rappers and becoming K-pop idols. As far as MMA and MAMA these are two different music awards: MAMA- Mnet Musica Asian Awards and MMA- Melon Music Awards are kinda like the VMAS in asia, these music awards event is where you will find a lot of great live performances of BTS which is a MUST SEE And as for Jordan noticing Jimin's smile and how of a great performer he is. that's what we would called the "Jimin effect". 😏 Borahae 💜💜💜

Being the main dancer and dance leader he put a lot of pressure on himself for this promotion. First day of filming he passed out in the middle of dancing. Gosh so many things to say. First of all, thank you for another video it was amazing and I loved it. I’d like to start off with saying that Boy with Luv is a bit of a spin off / more… equal song? It was pointed out in XCeleste’s bts hardships videos how boy with Luv essentially was a way of showing how they’ve improved and wanted to share their open minded mindset. A lot of anti’s targeted skool Luv affair due to the “mysogenistic” lyrics. While yes it is very much so targeting the romantic and angsty side of youth, they tended to say some very open and honest things in how guys can feel and see women. In boy with Luv, the spin off of sorts for boy in Luv, they collaborated with Halsey as a way of saying they’ve grown and try to always learn and do better. It was a, “we know this was an issue then, but we won’t let that happen again.” And Halsey and BTS’s relationship irl is so sweet and soft. I hope y’all react to War of Hormone. That’s a song with a lot of controversy and I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. It’s such a bop and funny song they dance to. I’d like to say now, that omg what will happen when you guys find Jin’s Awake. Epiphany… Moon?! Not to mention his originals Yours and Abyss! And super tuna is such a catchy short song. The covers too, you’ll be amazed by how underrated Jin is as a singer. Amazingly talented and hard working that man. Then of course Boy in Luv in relation to me… like Jordan, I at first didn’t really feel the song. After seeing them dance and perform it though it grew on me. That MMA performance in 2019 I highly recommend you wait on. It has a LOT of songs you haven’t seen yet. Even the background music are bts songs that were remixed! I’m loving how y’all are going in order almost of release. While sporadic and sometimes out of order, you’ve been doing a great job trying to stay chronologically on track. After Skool Luv affair you get to dive into the most beautiful moment in life. Hi guys! You asked why army loves Boy in Love. I can’t speak for others but I really like this style of music rap/rock really gets me hyped! Plus I like emo Bts lol. It’s really refreshing especially in Kpop, it’s unique. you’ll see more of their ‘emo’ side in the Dark and Wild album the title track is called Danger. It’s 🔥🔥🔥 - Boy with Luv is the complete opposite of boy in luv. It’s a contrast between MVs and genres. It features Halsey an amazing woman and icon. It’s more of a pop song, it shows the softer more romantic side of love. A big difference from their ‘aggressive teenage angst’ as Jared said before. And it shows that they have grown immensely through the years. About the music video, you’ve noticed Jin pushing the girl into the locker. So I’ve watched a lot of k dramas and anime and that behaviour is very typical in the ‘bad boy acting like he hates the girl even though he likes her’ troupe. It was wildly popular in earlier shows. I heard the boys received some back lash from it once they’ve gone global but I’m surprised they got more hate from war of hormone than boy in love. Anyway, they were clearly acting to fit that concept. I’m glad Bts and the company (the mv producers and story directors who determine the concepts) have learned from then and came out with BWL. I actually gravitate more towards BWL than BIL even though musically I enjoy rap/ rock over pop. But that era means so much to me. Lastly as everyone else is saying please don’t watch any of the mma/mama performances until you watch them In full. Then you will see the full impact! Also when you get through all the songs in the 2019 MMA I’m sure Army will let you know and you can watch it in full. Both BWL and BIL are back to back and it’s an amazing touch imo.

My heart sank a little when I saw you were watching the MMA 2019 performance. That performance, like all of the award shows, needs to be watched in full. The MMA 2019 performance is truly something special and magical. BUT, yes a big BUT, please don't watch it just yet. I know ARMY is begging but IMHO I think you will want to know all of the songs before you watch it for the full effect. The songs are 1) Intro:Persona; 2.) Boy in Luv; 3) Boy with Luv; 4) Mikrokosmos; and 5) Dionysus. This performance happened in 2019, and you are in 2014 with your ROB journey. There is no reason to rush watching it, and there are great award show performances from every year to watch until you work your way up to 2019. If you wait until you know all the songs - oh boy, oh boy! you will be in for a treat! As always, thank you for a great reaction. Jordan, like you BIL isn't my favorite. I think it's because I can't hear their voices as well as in later songs.The 2019 version has clearer and more distinct vocals which I think makes it better. Depending on the MV, they usually take 2-4 days to film (most are 3 days). And those aren't 8 hour days, those are 12+ hour days, often with only 2-4 hours of sleep between. I think Boy in Luv is beloved because it really captures BTS at a specific time in their career - young, and trying to find that perfect combination of what they love and what image will appeal to audiences. If you like the intro to Boy in Luv in the MV and 2019 performance, I suggest that you eventually check out 'What am I to You' from their album Dark&Wild, it's an RM solo song and it's amazing what he does with it.

When you get through all of the BTS content, you need to go back to the beginning and watch everything again and in order. The reason I say that is because you can't see it on the 1st time through but what you will come to see is a spectacular journey of growth and self realization. I think Boy in Luv, War of Hormone as well as the rest of the album show the authenticity of the boys. At that time that is who they were, teenage boys who were trying to navigate puberty, hormones and everything that comes along with being high school boys. As they mature they demonstrate that growth in songs like 21st century girl, Boy with luv and it is really beautiful to witness. Boy in luv is like opening your high school yearbook and remembering when you thought you knew everything but knew nothing at all.

1st look at actor bangtan!! they really are all naturally good at it. and it's a good thing too bc they do it a lot in the future between the bu content, the mobile game (BTS world) house of army, etc. all of which i can't wait to get to. just one day is so iconic within the fandom. i do not speak any Korean and i'm 100% confident i could get up on stage and perform this song like it was my own. a note for the dance practice (which is hilarious and one of my favorites) pay attention to v in particular. speaking of v, it's funny that you mention his facial expressions when he's performing because he's known for it. he's often referred to as "the idol of idols". it's a joke in the fandom that a lot of 4th gen boys end up copying him (accidentally or not who knows) bc they look up to him so much lmao.

Most of their MVs take two days to shoot. Not sure about these earliest ones - could be one or two days. With regard to their perfectionism, 3J (Jimin, Jungkook, & j-hope) took two days of ‘again and better’ to shoot a special dance performance not much more than a minute long to Megan the Stallion’s verse in Butter!

I will never get over the transition from YouTube to Patreon, it gets me every time! 😂 Boy in Luv is a great song, I do understand what you mean when you say the type of song/beat didn’t resonate with you, that’s how I felt with some of their later songs but I can appreciate each song that it is and no matter if BTS is singing a kid’s pop song or one of their hard rap songs I know that they will put in 100% of their efforts as well as give the performance their all. Yup. They are taking a peek at adolescence in its entirety revolving around young love, hence the title of the album the skool luv affair. Boy in luv was just one. One day is another. War of Hormone which unfortunately had a lot of controversy regarding the lyrics, is another. Something to keep in mind when you reach War of Hormones, its taken from the perspective of hormonal teenage boys going through puberty. It wasn't meant to be offensive. Rather it was more informative and reflective of teenagers. The controversy was laster revealed to be due to bad translation, however... it caused the boys a lot of grief and RM especially suffered because of it.

1. the korean name of the song is actually "manly man" 2. I don't know if that was intentional, but the hand sign at the end might not be a gun. Sometimes BTS also has sign language in their music videos or in their speeches which makes deaf Army very happy. I know Teahyung is learning some sign language and maybe some of the other members too. The hand sign at the end could be the sign language for "Love U" 👆🏽= L for Love and there is no emoji for the letter U but it's the middle finger and the index finger up, combined it looks like this "gun" hand sign

Also... Boy in Love was one of the songs that they got into some trouble with because it was a bit misogynistic... As I think you know, RM now works really hard to have all lyrics checked so that they do not offend. Boy With Luv was a bit of a "do over" for this song... and they included a female artist especially to show that they embrace and respect women. The scene with Jin and the girl is funny... he is too aggressive, and it tends to especially offend western viewers. From what I've seen, it is a common move for Korean men to sort of "pin" a girl they like against a wall with their arm, and also the grabbing of the wrist is commonly done with some one you like. In the US this wouldn't fly, but it seems to be a cultural difference. I've seen some videos about dating in Korea vs. the US and these two things are highlighted.

They usually go ALL out for these shows.. tons of props, drama, one-off stuff, it is AMAZING. And the crowd energy makes them all that much better! I also like watching the earlier performances and than the newer ones with their older songs. The growth that comes through is noticeable. The first performance was only 1 yr since debut and in 2019 they have so much experience know who they are and all have developed their own personalities on stage. They also have learned how to keep up the energy through out their performances. Loved the reaction.

And thanks for your honesty and sincerity 💜 To be honest, though I do love the beat, the song “Boy in Love” by itself/standing alone isn’t one of my favorite songs (there are SO many amazing songs coming up - just wait!! 👏) but it does have a special place in my heart which I realize is strange. Honestly, I think when I hear this song, I immediately go to where the boys were when they released it. They were young and giving their all to their newly launched careers. They were exhausted and excited. They were searching for who they were as individuals and also as a group - rapper vs idol, toxic masculinity vs authentic self, what image to portray, etc. They received alot of love and support from Army but they also recieved alot of hate and they weren’t used to it yet and so it was probably harder to receive. Not that we’re ever used to hate but they hadn’t yet grown the thick skin they have now. The Cyphers were born during this time for a reason. I believe that their HYYH (most beautiful moment in life) series and Love Myself series were also born out of all this “angst” BTS felt during this time. When I hear “Boy in love” it brings this bts to my mind and heart and I appreciate all they went through to make it. More than the actual lyrics, it reminds me of where they were and that’s why it is a special song for me. 💜

Hi guys. I love this song because of V’s really raw vocals. He just sounds so savage. When you listen to other songs where he hits really high notes and then goes into his low baritone, it gives me chills. I can’t wait for his solo song Stigma since you’ve already done Singularity. Maybe for V’s birthday December 30 Jared hmmmm, maybe, pretty please 🙏. This song along with War of Hormone is around the time they started to run into getting slammed for misogynistic lyrics etc which is a shame. They even stopped performing these songs. The Mnet performance is when they would go on weekly TV shows and and have to do well in order to continue and not be dropped by their agency. They were teenagers, expressing normal feelings. I personally don’t find them offensive at all. As a result of this we did get one of my favourite songs 21st Century Girls, which is really an ode to female empowerment. You will be blown away when you watch the 2019 MMA awards. They won 8 awards that night, sweeping all the major categories. They performed a mini concert and it’s epic in scale, energy and overall enthusiasm. You probably have to wait though as it’s 2019 and you have a long journey ahead before that. Their energy in live performances is just over the top. They feed off of the crowds and vice versa so it’s difficult to compare them to scripted music videos. Thank you for another observant analysis! Just to add some context: some BTS songs have English titles that are different from the Korean titles, because some Korean titles can be difficult or awkward to translate literally. Boy in Luv is one of these songs. The Korean title of Boy in Luv is “Sang Namja” which can be translated as “Manly Man.” That’s why the behind-the-scenes video you watched had the members making a lot of references to being a “real man” - this is how “sang namja” was translated in this video. It's also why BTS were trying so hard to look like tough guys in the music video. Remember, they had been receiving criticism from former underground rapper friends and others that they were acting unmanly, so they were under pressure to live up to this perception of “real hip hop artists” who were different from the Kpop idol stereotype, while also trying to appeal to a Kpop idol audience. You will see the shift in their art as they grow and explore different ways to express their masculinity and artistry, accept themselves, and become more confident in who they are. As for shoving the girl against the locker, “hitting the wall” is a common romance trope/cliche/meme in Korean TV dramas. This usually happens in a story when two people know they are attracted to each other, and each person has been waiting for the other person to make the first move. After a long period of waiting, one person finally gets frustrated and forces the other person to make eye contact by pushing them up against the wall and leaning into the wall. I am a huge R&B fan, 90’s R&B in particular. Just One Day is my favorite BTS song because it hits that sweet spot. It sounds like something Mario would have put out in back in the day. When I got out of the hospital last year, I listened to it every morning when I was scared of being home alone and needed something to make me smile. And it is definitely the first song I learned the Korean lyrics to. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

BTS first 3 albums is highlighting how it is to be in school. love, confusing and all that. they always write about things they know and have experienced. they look like a group of teenage guys checking out girls and teasing each other. in their later albums it´s more about youth and becoming an adult the pressure and all that. but i think they will highlight the albums in rise of bangtan.

The real actors are Tae and Jin, yes all the members can act to a point but those 2 have actual talent for it- you will notice going forward that their facial expressions especially in sentimental scenes they have to do in acting moments, those 2 are a natural.

were i think they improved are their live singing and rapping abilities but also their stage presence. it feels more relaxed and fun. at the beginning they were a little to perfect if you know what i mean? when they break up and starts rapping it´s more freestyle and even if it is planned that way, BTS has a way of making it look so casual.

I think they are just so tired that the energy is just keep going after they are done. Also because I watched a good amount of high school kdramas, I wasn't as disturbed with the locker scene.

War of Hormones is a total bop :D I really don't understand the problem around it. It's just boys being boys. They were still very young and didn't understand girls yet. I don't see anything wrong with that.

If I have to choose between controversial BTS songs I prefer War of Hormones much more!! Boy in Luv is not my favourite but the choreo is great!

My 4 year old daughter LOVES this song so much haha! She jumps around the house singing it DAILY. even her korean pronunciation is spot on lol!

Actually a lot of times the rap line always have hand mics and sometimes vocal line has the attached mics but usually bts use hand mics overall.
