Not-So-Little Nemo & King Morpheus!

Nemo used to visit Dreamland as a child: A fantastical place created largely by his imagination in which the magnanimous King Morpheus was its ruler and the boy's best friend. Of course all children grow up, and with the help of specialists and medication, Nemo in time was able to nearly forget Dreamland and his friends there, somehow deluding himself into thinking they were the creations of a mind which had lost touch with reality. (Or more likely because he was talked into believing it.) For over twenty years he slept, dreamlessly, and thought he was the better for it. Occasionally he'd have a vivid memory of his childhood in Dreamland, and he'd long to visit again, even knowing what his doctors would say. Still, it had been two decades, and perhaps his affliction had been cured with time? He decided to go off the dream-inhibiting medication in hopes of a typical night of typical thirty-something year-old's dreams. Instead, once he was asleep he found himself whisked away to that strange and wonderful world again just like he used to be where he was greeted by a tearful and overjoyed King Morpheus who could scarcely believe his eyes! His 'Little Nemo' was not-so-little anymore! Indeed he was a grown man now and a very handsome one at that! And from Nemo's perspective, his old friend the tall and mighty Morpheus felt less like the father and mentor figure from childhood and much more like Nemo's exact type! The two wasted little time in getting reacquainted, and Nemo realized through his conversations with the Dreamland denizens that he himself was the son of a human and a dreamlander and thus his powerful connection to the place. They had all missed him terribly and Nemo wanted nothing more than to make up for lost time. Nemo never missed another night away from Morpheus and the two were soon married: Beginning their benevolent and long rule of Dreamland together.
