Doug is Ready to... Fight?!

When I posted the head shot of my original street fighter 6 character Doug here, I got several indications from people that they wouldn't mind seeing more of him, maybe even a view of his other head! Well I don't like to disappoint, and I am very smitten with this short, but wide king! So who'd like some background and stats for the fella? (I can't actually hear you but I'm going to assume that several of you answered 'ME!')

Doug was born and raised in Corner Brook, Newfoundland to a family of fishermen. He grew up and spent most of his life working on boats, hauling in heavy nets full of salmon and hanging out with his crew in town. Despite his small stature, his work helped him get and stay strong. One day some lads from the mainland were in town causing trouble with the locals and Doug stood up to them. Unfortunately, despite his large showy muscles, a few of the men knew a little about fighting and beat the fisherman badly. They taunted him about his height, about his accent, and proceeded to teach him a lesson. It was a turning point for Doug. He realized that he wasn't remotely living up to his own fighting potential and would never let himself or anyone he cared about be a victim again. For the first time in his life he left home with only a suitcase full of clothes, his passport, and some other necessities. He first traveled to Metro City in the United States where he heard some of the best martial artists gathered to train students. Since that time he has trained with over a dozen of the world's best street fighters, learning more techniques along the way as he works hard to become the strongest there is on his world tour!
