Added 2022-10-25 20:21:21 +0000 UTCSo there's this stellar new animated miniseries on Netflix called: Oni - Thunder God's Tale. It's digital meant to look like puppetry or stop-motion animation and is really striking. The voice acting is top-notch and at least as far as episode 2 (as far as I am so far) it seems like there might be some complexity to the story, in spite of it probably being meant for a younger audience. Highly recommend the watch to anyone that might find this kind of stuff appealing. Mr. Tengu here (voiced by George Takei) is incredibly handsome and immediately piqued my interests! The different expressions they give him are super charming and really cute too. And for those of you who have followed my work for awhile now, you may recall I love tengu above all other yokai... And it's pretty easy to see why, lol!
