Current Goal

After releasing the Belline update I finally took a day off to re-charge and got my healthy 8 hours of sleep.


New developments also took place. So let me try this again.



•New equipment
I ordered Vive Pro 2, Wireless Adapter Pack and 8 trackers for motion capture. They should arrive in 1-2 weeks. Originally, I was planning to get these equipment one by one, slowly, after I decided on new tiers.

But I thought an investment isn't much of an investment, when there is no actual investment(?) if you get what I mean... And I honestly got pretty pumped up the more I learned about mocap in VaM. Ability to convert mocaps seamlessly into Timeline animations just did it for me.

So I said f**k it and basically threw money on the equipment.





•Curent Goal
Making my investment successful, is my current goal. Be it tier changes, some small free mocap scenes here and there or video releases. I simply expect a healthy return.






•Learning
I will probably spend much of the next month getting used to VR and learning how to make clean mocap animations in VaM as well as combining them with Timeline. I will polish and release some of the animations here as paid scenes, you can expect some teasing or funny content. Maybe some random stuff too.

These testing-scenes should give you a solid idea about what to expect from me in the future in terms of mocap animations.

Also, I will be able to test my scenes better for VR users.






•No Studio?
I don't have an actual studio but I still have a huge space for performing mocaps. I don't think the lack of a proper studio will cause any limitations or problems necessarily. I am doing a lot of research about VR and full body tracking and I will curate my mocap space to minimize any problems.




•VamTimbo
I'm also getting help from VamTimbo, lots of silly questions answered and really opened up my brain that's for sure. Also the reason I decided on 8 trackers.

I specifically asked VamTimbo, for producing the most clean & natural looking mocap animations in VaM, in my opinion.





•Not moving
After I had some conversations, I decided the benefits don't justify the cost so I'm not moving somewhere else... For now.

Though if the possibilities of mocap animations turn out better than I expected, I might decide to have an even bigger space in the future.




•When will tier changes happen?
After I get used to VR and see what I can do with mocap animations. Expect me to announce my plans around the end of the next month.

There is going to be a transition period too.
