It was definitely something I was not expecting to hear on a hip hop record but its use really knocked me on my ass because I first heard Here Come the Warm Jets when I was grieving the loss of someone very close to me (Which is a strange bit of synchronicity given that the Injury Reserve record is all about the loss of a friend). As such, I don't listen to Here Come the Warm Jets very often, but it really is an all time classic that everyone should hear at least once. Regardless of the Eno sample, By the Time I Get to Phoenix is definitely my album of the year and I'm so glad you reacted to it.
