This album was great. Definitely not for everyone, but it covers such a wide range of emotions that are super relatable and common to everyone now because of the pandemic, which is a major theme in this project.

2020-10-15 06:23:33 +0000 UTCwas able to talk about this album with JID and Earthgang's manager... recorded it all living in a house together over a couple of months and then finished it up in Jamaica for a couple of weeks. it's obvious with the intro track, but the message they were wanting to spread was that organized religion creates division in the world, and that coming together with a love for humanity should be prioritized over any person's devotion to a religion
