Yes they are really good pokemon companions, their devotion to you is top notch among pokemon. Yes they are versatile with their different fighting styles. But there have been warnings of owning several eevolutions. Sometimes they can get too attached and owning several of them could be a bit of a handful. Take a look at this trainer for example. After taking care of his eevolutions, a long day of work, grooming them before the night's end, they may still have ideas of their own before the night is over. And you may not have the energy to see a sneak attack coming. By the time you do see it... it might be too late.
Poor eevolution owners.
