New Years Announcement: Atlyss, VaM, Launcher News

I have some exciting announcements to make! It's a little bit of reading.. but please bear with it, its important!
ATLYSS NEWS
Concerned users brought another Atlyss mod to my attention.. one that was being published with suspiciously similar features to mine. Another Atlyss mod with Diva growth, expansion on attribute point and EXP distributions, and Angela growing on quest turn in?
But, decompiling and looking at their source code ... it was clearly not a case of piracy or theft... but simply that great minds think alike - and that we hadn't bumped into each other until now!
This modder (D-don) and I have been in communication.. and it turns out we have a very similar vision for what we’d like to mod into Atlyss. We’ve decided to team up, and combine our modding efforts into one.
First, we’ll be combining the features of both of our mods into one, meaning:
Growth on new quest givers, new types of growth, size related combat effects, and an even more in depth Diva fight
Then, we’ll be progressing on a new feature roadmap, with previously untenable features on the table
Size related custom dialogue, equipment, NPC interactions, NPC summons
Multiplayer compatibility
and more!
Atlyss mod updates are going to increase in frequency and quality. These new Atlyss updates will be available under a new tier, which D-don and I will be splitting. (This Atlyss tier will still get access to new VaM content, future game dev work, access to old exclusive work, etc)
Stay tuned, the first official update of our collaboration- (the base consolidation of both our mods features, as foundation to build off of) should be out later this month!
LAUNCHER NEWS
Yes, I’m still working on that Unity game… I was aiming to have it done by the new year (big surprise: it’s not) …but it’s a lot closer than before! The core systems are done, and basically all that’s left is the ‘Prettifying’ stage of UI, VFX and SFX.. I’m going to be reaching out to some artists you might recognize for some commission work, and hopefully wrap this up!
I am well aware that most patrons here do not care about this game - and I am not insulted by this. Even if it does have some big boobies in it- at its deepest, it still only has the depth and complexity of a small flash game.. Quite a departure from what we can find like in my VaM scenes!
I hope you can appreciate the project for its role in the ‘bigger picture’. Before you can run, you walk, and before that; you crawl. In terms of Unity/C# competence - this game is what it takes to get off my hands and knees, and moving to making bigger and better things.
There are VR, expansion, and multiplayer experiences I want to deliver that would blow your mind- but are too big or complex for a mod, or VaM scene.. and this is what it takes to bring them to you- because I have to make it from scratch.
I hope to wrap this game up soon, and will be excited to share some of my “Next Game” ideas which will be a lot bigger, and easier to get excited about. I’ll want to get some input since there’s a few potential candidates for what we could do next.. But before that.. I’ve got to get this first game out the door, so I can show you all I’m serious about going the distance!
VAM NEWS
Boy I sure hoped VaM2 would be out, and I could excitedly announce to be working on something in it by now.. 🙄
Well, VaM2 release or not: there’s still one project I want to wrap up regardless: the Streamer Sim.
Which, sadly, is currently in a very raw and unrefined state. I’m still working on what kind of experience I want to sculpt it into. I’m thinking for this one, it could be an excuse to write some very basic AI- (and I mean classic AI, like the Sims or Black and White 2 .. simple systems that can still percolate up to engaging ‘emergent behaviors’- no cringe chatgpt api integration or anything like that.)
This would move your in-universe role from less of a “Manager/Master who Perfectly Directs Every Action” like in my other scenes, to “A Manager who Does His Best to Make Suggestions, and a Growing Model that Sometimes Listens.. depending”
This may seem ‘too big’ for VaM (and it would be if I had my hands tied with Scripter) I’m pretty confident I could pull something like this off writing a custom C# plugin.. Thank experience gained working on the Launcher game for that!
FORECAST
January: Primary focus to getting bearings with the new Atlyss collaboration, and ironing out the kinks of our workflow. That, and I’ll be filling in the gaps trying to drag the Launcher game the final distance to the finish line, and solidifying a concept on what I want to do with the Streamer Sim.
February: should see some closure on the Launcher title by now, and with more hands at the wheel to lessen the load of Atlyss; we should see something Atlyss related and a solid plan for Streamer Sim- if not a feature update on that front.

Excited to hopefully see some atlyss news soon, since the older version of the mod is incompatible with the new release. Good luck, and I can't wait to see what you and D-Don cook up!
