This is the first of the 'shorter captions' featured for this month. Magical Manuscripts was first featured in the 'The Princess of the Lake' captions. Those were under the 'Whitewood' group title, but they're getting their own specific sub-series like all the other Whitewood businesses now.
This was actually one of the first of the 'modern' caption templates I made back in like 2021. The story hasn't really changed either.
TEXT
"I can't believe this is happening!" The gorgrous and regal redheaded woman whimpered as she walked slowly through the castle's courtyard, flanked on either side by stern looking knights. Behind her, carrying the train of her elaborate dress, was an attractive yet equally miserable looking woman in peasant attire.
"Yeah well, I TOLD YOU books were stupid!" The peasant woman grumbled back as she winced at the uncomfortable clothing she had been forced to wear for...well, however long it had been since they'd gotten stuck here. But just a little bit longer playing the roles that were stuck in and they could be free!
Indeed, both women had, at one point, been two college boys from Whitewood University. Brad and Jeff had stumbled into the 'Magical Manuscripts' bookstore, hoping to find some of their course books for cheap. Jeff had looked at a book called 'The Duchess & The Handmaiden', neither boy expected to suddenly be sucked into the world of the book in the title roles! They'd been trapped for months now, learning that they only ever seemed to make progress by playing into what they assumed had to be the 'plot' of the book!
It had been hell being women, with all the bouncing bits and weird holes and being lusted after and treated as property. And now Jeff, or rather, 'Josephine' was having to make the ultimate sacrifice and get married to that slob of a duke! And be expected to have a kid!
"Well it was YOUR idea to go to the bookstore in the first place, LADY 'Brie'!" The duchess hissed back as they approached the altar where the fat duke waited with the priest. "Ugh, let's get this over with..." Jeff muttered. He HATED the duke, the dude smelled and was an ass! Getting married to him was the absolutely last thing the reluctant royal wanted to do..But he didn't want to be stuck here forever!
"Yeah, the sooner you pop his kid out, the sooner we go home!" Brie whispered back.
Neither transformed boy realized the novel was actually a feminist tale about the duchess and her handmaiden falling in love, forsaking their traditional lives and running off together!
