Shifters: Growing Pains

The McCanns were vacationing in Cuba, now that it was safe for Americans to visit without fear. It was so safe that, while Tanner's mom and dad unpacked in the hotel room, they let their 16 year old teenage son wander the local neighborhood. After all, his Blocker pills had been working without fail for over a month now, surely they'd continue to work on vacation, right? But of course, they hadn't, and he was frantically calling his mom as he checked himself out.

"Hola mamá-I mean, hey, Mom. Si, it sucedió de nuevo" Tanner McCann said through his thick, adult accent and fluctuating base language as her stared at his sexy new face in the side mirror of a nearby car. On the one hand he was annoyed that these random changes kept happening...But on the other, man, he was totally una chica caliente! He touched his plump, lipstick caked lips and gazed into dark brown eyes that had replaced Tanner's own blue ones, and ran delicate, long-nailed fingers across hairless and sensitive skin that was a light shade of brown. The teen's former buzzcut was now a cascading mane of black hair and...Well, it was pretty hard to ignore the pair of huge tits on his chest, the emptiness between his shapely legs or the cushion of fat that hung off his well-defined hips! It wasn't exactly the first time Tanner had become a walking wet dream but...The language thing was new, though.

Like all young Shifters, once puberty had hit, Tanner's genetic structure became far more fluid and malleable. What had, years ago, started off as just his hair changing length or color, or his skin shifting pigmentation had eventually become full blown body transformations! And during these strange three years (with the expectation of at least anouther four yet to come before things stabilized) Tanner had ended up being all manner of men and women as his hormones and chromosomes fought for total dominance. Science had fancy words for all of this, but the doctors just referred to these as 'Growing Pains'. Blocker pills helped...but they didn't always work when a Shifter's hormones were overwhelmed. Which was exactly what had happened to the unlucky Caucasian boy when he'd gotten his first look at some of the incredibly attractive Latina women that were hanging out around the hotels in clothes that were decidedly...well, sexy. So much so that the surge of hormones broke through his Blockers and turned him into just another Latina!

"Yeah I'm, um..." Tanner paused for a moment as he suddenly...forgot? how to speak English. He knew the words but whatever new craziness was happening now was clearly interfering with his brain, "Umm...¿Estoy en la calle junto a este viejo auto azul?" He winced with his new eyes as his mother began screeching on the other end of the phone in a language that he could no longer understand. He tried several more times to explain to his mom where he was and what he looked like now, but the language barrier was too great. Tanner hung up the phone and decided the only way he was gonna get out of this mess is if he just walked back to the hotel on his own. At least one upside to this was that at least he could read the street names perfectly now? He began walking back, his hips rocking back and forth and sending his assets jiggling and bouncing with every perfect step he took in the heels that his shoes had become.

"¡Hombre, esto es raro!" The teen muttered to himself, what was going on? And why were those Cuban guys looking so...hot? He kind of wanted to go talk to them before he headed back to the hotel room...And they certainly looked like they wanted him...her to come talk to them as well! Maybe for a few Pesos Talia could...UGH! Absolutely NOT! "Joder, ¿¡qué diablos!? ¡Tengo que volver a la habitación!" He swore, and Tanner forced his wandering eyes away from the hot...studs...UGH and up towards the hotel. And maybe when his mom wasn't looking he could get some 'help' from dad...

Tanner was experiencing another symptom of new Shifters; Sometimes the full body morph was so intense that brain chemistry and knowledge would be affected, adapting to mimic the local surroundings and what had prompted the sudden change. It was something that Shifter bodies did to 'acclimate the dissonance between brain and body post-Shift' and would lessen with time...But for right now, All Talia, UGH, TANNER wanted to do was get back to the hotel room, get back to normal, and stop thinking about his dad as a rich Gringo tourist to make some money off of!
