Walk of Life, huh? What a stream that was. Unfortunately the VOD has since expired, but good times anyhow.

As I kept rambling on through the whole stream, Dire Straits is one of, if not my favorite band, and Knopfler is the reason why I picked up the guitar (along with the guitarists of Eppu Normaali, Juha Torvinen & Mikko Syrjä) which is why contrary to what my usual eurobeat and rock focused productions might imply, i play fingerstyle when i fiddle around on the guitar.

There's little I can really say about the making-of, as most of that happened during the stream, and overall the structuring of the remix is very standard. I didn't really take much creative liberties, I didn't feel the need to. Songs like Tunnel of Love, or Money for Nothing would have lots of room to play around with and do cool stuff, but you're gonna have to find someone else to mess with those. The pieces are damn near sacred to me, so I have a solid no-touch-policy. lmao.

One of the main focuses of the stream was creating new sounds, and putting together a Eurobeat soundset for the synthesizer plugin Vital. Overall I have about 35 sounds as of now, with more to come, all of which are sounds you'll be hearing in the songs I make, so you know they're usable and not just fluff. That's something I've wanted to pursue for a long time, to make the genre more approachable for those who wanna give it a shot without spending a year to practice their chops.

With that being said, if there are specific sounds, or types of sounds you'd like to get your hands on when I do end up releasing the sound library, or have sounds you just happen to like hearing in your favorite songs, do let me know and I'll see if I can accommodate.

Last time I teased an original song with a vtuber, which i showed off on the stream, but this time I'll be teasing something even bigger. Even if I haven't put out much content, I hope there's gonna be a lot of content to look forwards to, but before anything's finalized, I'll have to keep you fellas in the dark. Cheers, and catch ya later!

One of my all-time favorite bands, and one of my favorite songs too! Awesome to know that the Straits are so meaningful to you as well!
