This track was great fun!!! As mentioned, this EP was supposed to be all Eurobeat, but after I received the demo for this track for the first time, we sat down on the drawing board for a good bit, and I'm really happy they accepted my vision.

Rather than trying to force the original demo into a Eurobeat style, I tried to keep as much of the vibe as possible, while trying to emphasize the 90s dance quality to make it fit with the rest of the tracks. I LOVE ROMPLER PIANOS

Compared to A Familiar Room, otherside's arrangement basically had itself written from the moment I first listened to the original, but it was still one I got to have a ton of fun with. In contrast to the careful choices made with A Familiar Room, this one I had as much fun with as I could. The original was in a way what I'd describe as 'hypnotic', which was a really important theme I wanted to depict in my arrangement as well.

Working with Minecraft!!!

Of all things I really didn't think this is where we'd end up at, but here we are. An official arrangement collaboration with the biggest game ever, and one I quite adore myself. Minecraft.

Not to get ahead of myself, this was still a simple collaborative musical project and not an inclusion in the game or anything of the like, but I truly do find it pretty difficult to think of a honor bigger than this.

I'm really glad I've been able to keep working with A-One and I hope you guys have enjoyed our works together as much as I've liked making them. It's pretty insane to keep seeing new TOHO EUROBEAT volumes with multiple releases I've produced considering how much of an inspiration they've been to me since I first started making Eurobeat proper.

Album Blog Vol.1

As I mentioned last month, I want to take a bit to talk about the songs I produced for the recent hololive album.

Considering the news we got today about Fauna's graduation I want to start with her's, just as I did for the album. Here's what I wrote when I sent the song over:

-The tempo was our primary issue! As I mentioned, I found a way to make the tempo work by doubling the time from 97bpm to 194bpm, and then lowering said bpm to around the eurobeat range. I ended up at 17...

Runnin' in the 90s

Speaking of songs that are basically Eurobeat. I feel like Airbourne just makes Eurobeat but got the instruments all wrong. Have a listen to some of their other tracks, Blackjack, Live It Up, I definitely want to remix more Airbourne in the future.

I'm actually really happy I found this song a few months ago. Everyone knows Skid Row, 18 and Life, Youth Gone Wild, In a Darkened Room, you name it, but this one really did the thing for me. It's basically Eurobeat already. Questionably sexual lyrics at a high bpm, that are really fun to sing along to, but really hard to explain. :DD I hope I introduced the song to at least a few of you. It's one of my favorite discoveries from this year.

More A-One!!!

the long awaited(???) sequel to U.N. Owen Was Her? ELEMENTAS and I collaborated with HIKO again for a new arrangement of the Scarlet sisters' songs. I realize I never announced this, but better late than never... Yay.

Also, I'm at the tail end of my summer project, which should be released sometime later this year. Please look forwards to it! I'll return to regular activities soon! See ya!!!

this was originally supposed to be What's My Age Again by Blink182 to celebrate my 24th birthday, because nobody likes you when you're 23, but unfortunately I couldn't get it to immediately click and I'm tremendously impatient. Also, I don't think many were disappointed with the song choice. Lol.

I could explain the thought behind it all, but it would ruin the magic.

The chord progressions which repeat themselves, the instrumental shifts for few bars at a time, the nature of the given elements in each part. The lyrics tell a story, sure, but the instrumentation serves to reinforce it every step of the way.

I got to contribute to A-One's new single Idoratrize World with the track Remnant Memories, sung by Renko, whom you might recognize as the lyricist for my past two collaborations with ELEMENTAS, U.N. Owen Was Her? and Straight from Your Heart!

This time I was working off of Mokou's themes. Fujiwara zone, and whatnot have you.

The extended guitar/organ solo I made for the song ended up quite catching ELEMENTAS' eye, or ear rather, so make sure you listen to the whole thing through...

i wanted to squeeze in one last tribute for Pomu Rainpuff before her graduation. It ended up being a bit tight considering the song dropped at midnight the day before her very last stream, but we made it in time!! I don't particularly really watch nijisanji, but even i'd know just how influential she's been. I can only hope her the absolute best in the future. from what little i've seen she's a doll.

youtube nowadays sometimes suggests videos with barely ANY views at all, and my friend who's a fan of older videogame music got suggested the original music 17 from hello kitty & friends rockin' world tour when it had less than a hundred views. I could NOT believe what I heard, the original is PERFECT. I have no clue what it was doing on a hello kitty game but man you can just hear the composer ripping it the hell out.

fun fact, Rock Band cd rips are a veritable goldmine of rock multitracks. I actually got to use the original guitar tracks when making this, and I think that really shows in the end result.
