About this month...

I've made four remixes this month as of now, and more will most likely follow. Consider this post as a reminder to set a monthly limit to your pledges, or as an incentive to set your pledge limit off.

As of late, I've started to look into getting a formal education in Music Technology. There are certain criteria for applying which I don't really meet as of now. One of them being the ability to play an instrument, and unfortunately, as much as I'd like to, I can't really shred it out with a recorder in order to get in. What I can do, on the other hand, is to buy a guitar, and learn how to play that it a sufficient level. And besides, it's high time for me to start playing my own guitar parts instead of just writing it out in midi...

Why this post, you ask? My aim is to make enough music this month that I can comfortably afford to buy a guitar that'll be good enough for me to not have to worry about it sounding bad, not being fun to play, or just in general not cutting it for what I need it to do. Basically just reassuring myself that any and all faults will be in the player, not the instrument. :^)

I thought I'd let you know what's up, because after all, you guys are giving me my paycheck out of the kindness of your hearts, so the least I can do is keep you up with my plans and spending.

Also, if you've read this far you're now legally obligated to leave a remix suggestion in the comments, so I can add it to the poll I'll be holding next week.

Dororo op 1: Kaen

Jagotron

Based. Sure.

How about Promise by Hirose Kohmi, also known as GEDDAN?

Satan-Sama

That's playing it dirty, but who am I to complain?

End of the world would be epic

Hell, guess I'm adding that too.

Hey man I came here because today I had a thought... and if you made a heads will roll/dance till you're dead remix I'll have no other option but to become a patron

Makka na Chikai? Will do.

Not sure if I'll do We Are Number One since it's been done. Twice. But I'll add some Dragonforce for you.

I would like to see a Busou Renkin OP Eurobeat edition. It fits your style very well with the guitar piece already in place.

Lemme get that We Are Number One remix or if you want a challenge any Dragonforce song

Yeah, I figured that much. I guess the equivalent would be to call Dragonforce "Some Guitar Hero shit." Which admittedly would be pretty befitting. It sounds pretty goddamn intense by the way.

I'm sure I'll be able to figure out something very boomer to add to the list.

Thanks for the update! I don't have any specific song suggestions, but my favourite remix so far was Fortunate Son, so maybe another one similar to that.

t+pazolite has nothing to do with osu. osu is a rhythm game and it hass songs from all over the place. t+pazolite is popular there cuz of the high bpm and very iconic maps made for it. Either way i would love to see this one in Eurobeat version.

nezu

this is some osu shit, aint it? Gotchu.

t+pazolite - cheatreal

Will not be on the poll.

Will be on the poll.

Sure!

Thanks for the reply, you are doing great work man! Good luck with your guitar escapades.

I know a guy who would absolutely love you for requesting Coolish Walk. It shall be added. Also, I have a few models in mind for the guitar. Which one I'll pick will depend on how much patreon will give. Mind you, I won't be dropping thousands on a Gibson LP.

PEPSIMAN! PEPSI PEPSI PEPSIMAN!

LewdTrousers

great days

Boks

Battle on the Big Bridge/Clash at the Big Bridge (Gilgamesh Theme) - Whichever version of it is most suitable, Ig.

Miklo

Just started my pledge, nice to hear about your life. Any idea yet about how much dosh we talk about for the guitar? Oh and also, how about Coolish Walk, for a remix, if I may be so bold.

David Scheele

DOOM stuff? Bruh, go easy on me.

BFG division or perish

superhuman intellect

Lmao you should shave your head and learn the guitar just to throw a curve ball

Gonk

Crossing Field was already gonna be on the list, but yeah. Glad to hear you had a pleasant experience. It's pretty reassuring. Also my father will finally stop taunting me about my hair every time we meet. "Are you gonna cut your hair or are you gonna start playing the guitar?" Well, jokes on you, dad, that's exactly what I'm gonna do.

I mean you know that Crossing Field is my numba wan. But also as someone who played music throughout school I can say that it's an awesome experience, and it will improve many aspects of your life including your music making skills. Plus all the ladies love a guy who plays the guitar

Gonk

You are correct

I'm guessing Mondaijitachi and not some rando Juice WRLD.

Black + White

noted.
