Yung Begins Training Freddie

Last week, Freddie began training with Yung for the strenuous action marathon that will be Nail House. Every morning at 10 AM, Yung gets on Discord and directs Freddie through stretches and his fighting form. And I do mean EVERY morning. I tried scheduling a meeting with Freddie during that time, and I was quickly greeted with a text telling me 10 AM is his "SACRED" time.

These are 30-minute sessions and the purpose is to get Freddie moving and looking right for ON-SCREEN action. This isn't about learning martial arts; it's about being able to move your body in the expressive and deliberate way necessary for camera. On-screen fighting is akin to dancing. So Freddie's learning to dance.

You can see how much he improved within 30 minutes on the first day.

We will for sure put together a video going more in-depth with Yung's training philosophy and approach.

But for now, know that this is what will be required to get the action looking how we want. As we get ready to cast the second lead, we will be looking for someone as dedicated as Freddie.
