Awesome. I'm happy for you. Hopefully the stream of donations and tipps will keep up steadily. With 11 drives you should be able to setup a RAID6 with 8+3 drives. Usually 8x data, 2x parity, 1x hot or cold spare. Finding a well performing set of SATA controllers for cheap that can let you access all your drives at the same time may be a challenge. Also you perhaps might want to up from 11 to 12 drives to go for 2x 4+2 RAID6 that could be split over two systems and be synchronised. Anyway - lots of options and a lot of fun ahead! I might have a few spare 500GB SATA drives even Seagates ... need to check my drawers ... could take some time. :) Cheers!
