This quote hit me like a ton of bricks the first time I read it.

For most of my life, I've been a people-pleaser. I've given my precious energy to people who don't deserve it. I've said yes when I wanted to say no. I've taken on huge projects that I didn't have the bandwidth for, because I wanted to be helpful.

I was afraid of saying no; so terrified of disappointing people.

But the truth of the matter is, your energy is SO precious. Like priceless rubies and pearls. It has so much more worth than you could ever imagine!

You should exert your energy wisely. And don't forget to save some for yourself. You don't need to give it away to just anyone.

So this month, I want us to focus on this! Mindful energy-spending. Energy is currency. Spend it well, invest it well, and don't deplete your supply and go into debt for the sake of others.

Visually, I went with a ~celestial theme~ for the wallpapers this month. Thought it was very fitting for this time of year - it's still spooky season, right?!
