Regarding the start of Bandages' fight, remember this happened before. When Goku & Tao fought, recall that Goku let Tao hit him a bunch at first. Then Goku got up saying, "I've been studying you! Your breathing gives away your next move". This was following Korin's teachings from a couple episodes prior: "Concentrate! Anticipate my movements. Know my thoughts by reading my breath." So I guess that's why everyone lets others beat everyone up. Makes perfect sense.. Yeah.......
