Rocky Balboa Reaction

Rocky Balboa Reaction

even at his 2025 age, Jake Paul would probably call Rocky out

Great reaction Girls, pls continue the Rambo franchise, you have watched just one movie, First Blood, thanks.

That's Antonio Tarver, he's a professional boxer, go get your eyes checked, he looked out of shape because he's not supposed to have trained for the fight, as they said in the movie, because why would he train to fight a 50+ year old long time retired fighter in an exhibition. If you actually watched boxing you could see he was skilled compared to the other "fighters" in the series. One big difference is Rocky was able to make contact with Tarver almost the entire fight, because Tarver knows how to roll with a punch, so he was actually able to make contact in this "fight" which did sell it a bit better and give it a more realistic visual to the other fights. I really can't believe you said a former light heavyweight champion didn't look like a boxer, too funny.

In his prime "Iron Mike" was almost mythical. 20 years old Heavyweight Champion. I don't think anyone was better before or since.

Some cool real history that happened: one of the greatest boxers of all time was named Mike Tyson (you should watch “Mike Tyson highlights” on YouTube if you are interested!) When he was young and in the 80s and 90s, he basically won every fight, he was so good. He made some bad decisions later and his career eventually ended. But in 2024 he was an old man, nearly 60 years old, he agreed to fight a young boxer who was only 27. The young boxer wasn’t very good but he was more than half his age. Mike Tyson unfortunately lost because he got too tired. So this movie kind of parallels what ended up happening in real life almost 20 years after the movie.

Creed is a direct continuation of this series, and I think it adds a lot to the earlier films.

D

By the way girls there is an alternate ending where Rocky actually win.

Hey Yo Adrian! In Rocky voice. By the way Adrian is just an introvert. Can you girls tell Ivy that she is my Adrian. 😊

Hella “No boom boom before the fight”😅 I know Rocky has a bit of an extension in the Creed movies, but with this movie, the main Rocky journey comes to an end. I think Rocky Balboa is a great conclusion to the Rocky Story. The Movie managed to capture a small spark of the emotional depth for which the beginnings of the series is known. I love Chi and Hella's reaction to the speech Rocky gives his son. For me it is the best scene in the movie and always a goosebump moment. I think every one of us has needed, or would have needed, that kind of speech at some point in our lives. Rocky had the thickest plot armor imaginable. It's absolutely unrealistic that a boxer Rocky's age could last 10 rounds in the ring against a champion like Dixon. The fact that there isn't a boxer with Rocky's fighting qualities who is 30 years younger than him as a challenger is also pretty unbelievable. But well, it's Rocky's story, and it's a good ending. As they say goes, "Never let realism get in the way of a good story."😉 The actor who plays Rocky's son, Milo Ventimiglia, had the lead role in the show "Heroes" in the mid-2000s, which I really liked. The show was about people with superpowers, and it had a lot of potential. Unfortunately, like many projects at the time, it fell victim to the screenwriter Strike from 2007 to 2008 and never recaptured the success of the first season. The show was surprisingly canceled after the fourth season. I'm already looking forward to your reactions to the Creed movies; I'm sure you'll love them. That was a wonderful reaction, ladies, as always.💜

Hi munchies. this movie came in 2006, while Rocky 4 came in 1985. In 21 years, Stallone and all the cast had the time to grew old 😅. In the beginning, you said Adrian was a most perfect wife than you could be. i don't know you enough to speak for you (althoug for what I saw, you'll be very different but not worse or better as long as the husband is doing his part. wedding is a teaming up things). but for Adrian i'm not so sure. Yeah she's dead in this one, so nothing new on her. For what we saw of her, yes she's a very supportive wife and tryingto stop him making mistake, but I can't really explain but even she's trying i'm having a hard time thinking she did all she could to help him. so not that perfect for me. ( i'm having a hard time seeing the teaming like I spoke earlier). Jamaïca = european, oh my ,Rocky is not knowledgeable at all 😂.... (If you don't know either ,that's alright it's just funny to hear that in a movie😅 . Jamaïca is an Island in the caribbean sea, just next to america, not near Europe at all) You should be surpirse how many time people can talk about "waht happen if "insert famous fighter" fought "insert other famous fighter". and the trashing is part of the show, for them being respectuous isn't interresting. the more they're trashing people , they more people are reacting, the more it made advertissing for them.... sad but true. respect is long dead with that. they even do that with fictionnal character (like dark vador vs Voldemort. not a joke btw, you cand really find that kind of video on youtube...) . I understand people don't like this movie much. to be honest, I had a bad time getting into it like the others one. there's my problem with this one: the movie is very slow (maybe too much), rocky is acting strange in his grief (I admit that seeing him befriend Marie like that feel strange. never sure if he want to help her to make something of his life or seducing her....), the fight really has no point , he's too old against one too young with anger issues only wishing for a true glory and self-respect by victory against someone the same age as him (not matter what Rocky said, there's no point to this one, even Adrian would disagree on this one). And I found they made the father-son relationship bad for no reasons . I understand the Why the son's is being like that and How the scenario goes with it, but I dont' understand the Why did they do it? But they' re still good thing in it: the way the movie approach grief is very good, this sensation of surviving somenone and not being able to explain why you are alive (Paulie is in my mind on this one) . the speak about life being "it's not about how much you punch, but how much you can take it" was also very good. And I very like the last scene when Rocky dissapeared in the light with him doing his arm gesture like he always does. Almost he go meet Adrian in the afterlife. the man dissapear, the legend goes on and he's telling us goodbye. In the end, still a interresting dicovery. Thanks for that, munchies. Always a pleasure seeing Hella chearing up each time they put Rocky's theme song and others time you chearing up during the fight. Also very funny seeing Chi trying to shoot the guy after he spoke bad of Rocky at the restaurant. 😅 Have a nice day, munchies!
