I don't know how you guys managed to sit through this movie in one sitting. I literally had to take a break halfway through, then come back lol. But it is an interesting watch, and much easier to sit through with you guys. Always enjoy your reactions. Good to see you again Yuna, hope to see you more.

His wife was simply bringing him his mail, which contained the divorce papers. That’s why it said "Gray's copy," but he had been corresponding with different police departments, and in that correspondence, someone mailed him a copy of Arthur Leigh Allen's license, which had his birthday.. She merely gave him his mail; she didnt personally come up with evidence for him.

Great reaction as always, everyone! If you're looking for investigative thrillers, check out The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Prisoners. I think you'll really enjoy them.

Rewatched this one after a long time. Someone recommended Memories of Murder which is easily my favourite movie in this genre. It’s a Korean movie and far more intense than this one. Overall a great reaction.

*That* stabbing scene is probably the most disturbing scene I've ever seen in a movie. The stabs and the sounds the actors made sounds so real. This is probably the only movie that gave me nightmares, and its of me getting stabbed in the back, and I'm always sleeping on my stomach when I wake up from those nightmares😅 Did you know they filmed that scene at the exact spot where the murder happened? Pretty wild

Wao. That was a crazy watch. First time watching here as well. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time... it's VERY mind-blowing this is all based on a true story. Great analysis and reaction, girls! Was great to see Iron Man, The Hulk, and Mysterio all together too 😂

Daryl

Yuna was on point with her analysis at the end. This movie is very detail oriented and I can see it being confusing for ppl that don't know about it, but you girls followed along very well 👍

Now that you've watched some Fincher films, you have to watch GONE GIRL. I think it's his best film.

Yes. Would love to see a Bong Joon Ho film. This or Parasite would be great reactions. Although my favorite film of his is 'Mother'

I recommend the Korean film “Memories of Murder” for another murder mystery, really good

mundanelotus

I definitely don't think Fincher is trying to have us sympathize with him. As far as I can tell, the major theme of the film (even more so than murder) is the peril's of obsession. Jake Gyllenhaal seems to have an affinity for playing obsessive character's (Prisoners, Zodiac, Nightcrawler, Enemy)

Yes ladies, the 70’s were a very different era. A lot more trust in people was common. No cellphones, no internet, no social media. People often don’t lock their doors back then. Seems crazy, but it really was like that, especially in smaller towns.

Hi Munchies. Hi yuna' welcome in the teeam ( i missed you with the descent), don't let chi always trap you with depressing movies ! ^^ Oh and sorry for your eye chi !! And cheers for our inspector Hella ! I did some research (as far as wikipedia count .... yeah not the best one) the zodiac killer did 5 murder for sure, he claim 37 and graysmith in his book gave him 49. the real killer was never found and proved. but i guess the movie presented the event of the investigation quite well as far as i saw. Moral of the story: even with Iron Man and Hulk doing the investigation, we're not sure to find a killer !! ^^ have a nice days munchies !

I'm always a bit torn about this movie. On the one hand, it's a great movie with a very good cast. The three main characters are all actors who have appeared in the MCU. Paul Avery played by Robert Downey Jr. aka Iron Man, Dave Toschi played by Mark Ruffalo aka Hulk and Robert Graysmith played by Jake Gyllenhaal aka Mysterio (the villain from Spiderman Far from Home). But on the other hand, I can't really understand Robert's obsession in this movie. Especially when his obsession with the case puts his marriage in danger and later even his family, when the killer starts calling him at home. It all turned out well, but it could have turned out differently. I mean, how can he live with the fact that a killer knows where he lives, where his family is and where something could happen basically every time he goes on one of his research tours. Yes, he solved the case, wrote a book and seems to have gotten along well with his family in real life in the end. But it makes the characters in the movie very unsympathetic, to say the least. I would like to recommend the disaster movie The Day After Tomorrow (2004) with Jake Gyllenhaal for a reaction. A very underrated movie in my opinion. That was an awesome reaction, ladies, as always, and it was nice to see Yuna again.💜

Digitalversager

Yes!!! They should definitely check out Gone Girl (2014)

Daryl

Police in America during the 60,s and 70,s were called Pigs,a common insult for them back then.

John West

Awesome pick! Poor Yuna back again for another disturbing movie.

MatthewJ

Looking forward to Detective Hella in action again 🔍

JD

Zodiac!! 😲 David Fincher 😲

Mark W

That's Robert Downey,Iron Man.

John West

Really glad you’re doing Fincher films again. This is a long movie, but in some ways his most carefully crafted film. I think you’d love Gone Girl!
