Game of Thrones 8x3 Reaction

Game of Thrones 8x3 Reaction

My favorite character (since season 1 episode 2) was always Arya. I love how she embodies strength and resilience, but also has a lot of vulnerability. And I think the way she is written by the author is a very unique and compelling take on the "revenge" story. And I have to mention how great a job Maisie Williams did with her character. Also, might be fun for you to know a bit more about the context of characters in the books/show. The big 3 favorites of the fans are Jon, Tyrion, and Arya. Tyrion is the author's favorite character, but he often mentions that Arya is is second favorite. In fact, his wife's favorite character is Arya, and there is a well known story about her threatening to divorce him if he ever killed Arya. :) Arya is also the only character in the story to appear in every book, and has the third most chapters devoted to her character just behind Tyrion and Jon. I've enjoyed watching this reaction series! Thank you.

it has to be this dark.. this is how dark it "was"... so you cant see, like they couldnt see. i love it.

I will hate watch this (not your reaction) but the episode itself. Utterly traumatic when I first finished it

There is no hopelessness. Every important character gets magically saved by a jump cut, the issue is resolved with the stupidest jumping and yelling move (by a trained assassin) who doesnt even get marked or frostbit by the night king whose touch is supposed to be insanely cold, and you cant even properly see half of it. Plus there are no lingering consequences considering the supposed lost of the armies all just respawn in the next day.

In the next episode, keep an eye out for a Starbucks cup that they accidentally left in the scene. The actress who plays Daenerys accidentally left it on the table.

David Bunnetto

I'm not crying, you're crying!!! Jk we are all for sure crying 😭😭😭. Wonderful piece of television here, literally the only complaint I ever have is that it's so DARK. Everything else came together beautifully. The musical score always gets me in the feels.

this is my favorite episode. i could rewatch it over and over again, it's so well done! a diamond among all the episodes from the last 2 seasons. the music, the feel of despair and hopelessness, just everything... really awesome job with this one. i am thankful to everyone who reacts to GoT and to this episode, it's like watching it with new fresh eyes, it's like watching it for the first time. <3

Most of us could have directed a better "siege" with actual tactics.

Manospondylus

I'm glad you made it this far in the series. I look forward to the finale.

For casual viewers (like the munchies) this episode is fine, but for a lot more passionate fans this episode was a real let down. "The Long Night" should have been... well, longer hahaha they should have, and could have made at least 2 episodes out of this battle. I get why they wiped out the Dothraki right from the get go, to show just how dangerous the situation was, that such a force gets taken off the board so quickly, but showing everyone getting slaughtered quickly and then having a handful of main characters making last stands was really unrealistic and stupid hahaha the strategy and tactics shown were god awful. I'm fine with Arya being the one to end the Night King, but it would have been better if Jon had a showdown with him.

Great reaction ladies, it was fun reliving this through you. I especially enjoyed your commentary about Theon. Of all the characters in the series, Theon's story was my favorite. I think it was the most satisfying story by the end. With all his terrible mistakes he earned his redemption.

Pauly

Too bad the lighting was dark asf

The night king piano melody is my 2nd favorite piece in this series. The Light of the Seven is my favorite. It's not often Chi breaks down so you know it is powerful when she does, even if it just a little. Jorah died the only way he wanted, protecting Kahlessi. RIP Jorah and Theon.

I'm certain they would have enjoyed Lost the most out of all the shows on the list.

Truly great reaction ladies. Love your take at the end and your care for the characters we've lost in this episode. For the next show, I would of loved if you chose LOST but you've made your choice it seems. LOST would of been great with all four of you reacting to it. It's got a divers ensemble cast, that you would connected it with. Two are from South Korea., and all shot in Hawaii, I will be watching your reactions regardless though. Since Thanksgiving is right around the corner i recommend classic comedy, 'Trains, Planes and Automobiles' starring Steve Martin and John Candy.

This is the episode where I stopped watching GOT. I do remember it being well done, but I just completely lost interest after the NK storyline ended. So I'm looking forward to finally finishing the series. I thought the episode before this was really beautifully done. Maybe the only episode in the final two seasons that didn't feel rushed in any way.

uber battle episode, i love the music and sound in this one

King Bob

The Night King theme by Ramin Djawadi in this episode is a masterpiece

Rippan

I hate this episode with a passion xD

EvilSaiya

Haven't been watching these since season 4. I wonder if they noticed the tremendous drop in quality. Probably not.

Fff

Lets go!
