Phoenix. Let's go!
p.s. I still think Chi sings the intros better ;)

i wonder if they will watch The Rogue Cut Makes X-Men: Days of Future Past or the Theatrical version.
The Rogue Cut Makes X-Men: Days of Future Past was officially released 2015, about a year after the theatrical version.
I haven't seen the Rogue Cut version, but it contains 17 extra minutes and seems to have good fan reception......

I've seen this movie a few times over the years, this is the first time I saw this part at the end of the credits where Professor X came back.

Its so funny how you two mention Gandalf and still haven't realized the actor that played Magneto is the actor who played Gandalf. Fun reaction, keep the X-men movies coming.

Didn't Charlie Kirk say gun deaths were a price worth paying? Ironic isn't it.

I don't know if they would want to do Wolverine Origins. Some parts are really bad and have been retconned, but other parts they keep and show up later in movies like Deadpool and Logan.
But I would definitely watch The Wolverine next, since it's a Part 2 as it follows the events of this movie directly and we see Logan grieve for what he had to do to save Jean. Then it also sets things up for Days of Future Past, plus it's just really good.

I actually liked the second one quite a bit. The writing in this one was...not good. Felt like there were no stakes. Felt rushed. Didn't feel like the end of a trilogy. Strange dialogue. Weak characterization. That's just my opinion though.

I forgot about the mind transfer thing at the end of the movie. Now I understand how professor X continued on

"King, queen, horses.... and cars!" cracked me up so much 😂
Edit: If the X-Men movies are to go forward with the prequels/reboot movies that are ahead, I am interested in how the Movie Munchies react to the change to the new "universe".
I don't think i ever got around to Origins: Wolverine or The Wolverine but seeing them react to the shift from early 2000's to early to late 2010's will be interesting. All those young versions of famous mutant roles being recast as more current big actors.

It's not as good as X-Men 1 and 2 but I like The Last Stand. The DARK Phoenix saga is one of the best X-Men stories. It's a shame the studio didn't take the time to tell it thoroughly.
If they had done it like the MCU, with a long-term plan and spread out several movies over the years, the X-Men could definitely have become as big as the MCU.
I'm glad you'll be watching the other X-Men movies too. You'll get to know Professor X and Magneto better there.
Both younger versions of the characters are portrayed by great actors: Professor Xavier by James McAvoy and Magneto by Michael Fassbender.
That was a great reaction, as always, ladies.💜

What about Finding Nemo, as it's in your name. Or Toy Story, Up, Monsters Inc, Ratatouille...
Even the Lion King or any of Hayao Miyazaki's films, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke. Ghibli's Grave of the Fireflies, Princess Kaguya.
Kung Fu Panda is good/fun but there are certainly better animated films out there, at least in my opinion.

Hi. I hope you continue this series. It seems like you are invested in the characters. I'm not into MCU, but I do love the X-Men saga.

This on the whole is a good movie, but i can't get over the fact they went from casting Bill Duke as Trask to Peter Dinklage....crazy immersion-breaking
