The intro song is called "Blue" by Eiffel 65. It was popular in the nineties and is being played to indicate that the 90's is when the scene takes place (and yes, before Tony and Pepper were a thing/together) 2. Tony tells the kid: "I loved you in a 'Christmas Story', by the way" - "A Christmas Story" is a 1983 film and Tony is joking that the little boy looks very similar to the kid that starred in that movie - a young Peter Billingsley. 3. "Brace yourself" is phrase we use to insist that someone secure themselves/hold onto something in preparation for a force or impact. In some movies you may hear "brace for impact" which means something similar. 4. In the end, Tony returns to the destroyed mansion to retrieve the Dum-E robot that had the dunce hat earlier in the film. (You can see it in the trailer attached to his car)

And, he directed Iron Man 3. Shane Black is mostly known for his writing, especially a film called Lethal Weapon, but he's directed some big films as well. Rebecca Hall plays Tony's old girlfriend. She's a really brilliant actress. She stars in this film called The NIght House. It's a horror film, but she's great in that film. She seems to be one of those actresses that will star in a really small movie that features her acting ability, and then the next year she will be in a Godzilla movie.
