Nice reaction. Both of you so beautiful! Hi Hela.

Poefan95

your fits are amazing!

Cornelius P. Stranglefart, Attorney at Law D.D.S.

They did, just gotta check out their final commentary to the end!

Beau Tanner

Is it me or was this one of the longest outros for "Thor" of all movies . . . . Are you 2 sure you have never seen this and we aren't watching a commercial brought to you by Disney/ Marvel . . . .?

RichieBIV

Loki always betrays everyone. That's what makes him so much fun. In the Norse myths, Laufey was actually female so was his mother and not his father. The Norse mythology in the Thor movies has been dumbed down and cleaned up for modern audiences. It's far weirder and more disturbing than what is shown in the movie.

Mr Jackpots

“Why can’t he lift it? Maybe it’s too slippery” you guys crack me up lol

The One Eyed King 👁️

61. Keep on watching these movies. excellent reaction. but dont forget to watch the end scenes.

Saints_Madness

A couple fun facts about the real norse mythology of Heimdall: - He only needs as much sleep as a bird (meaning he can stay awake almost all the time to watch the bridge) - He is the son of nine mothers (nine sisters actually). don't ask how that works, becase that is just how norse mythology is sometimes: fun and crazy exaggerations. - One day, he will blow on the legendary horn "Gjallarhorn" to signal the end of the world Norse mythology can be a lot of fun.

I loved your reaction! As a norwegian, I have been waiting for this! I have no idea if people in Vietnam know anything about norse mythology, but this was not purely invented by comic book writers. (I am not offended if you don't, as I know very little about ancient mythologies of your area as well) Thor, Loki, Odin and Heimdall and everything else is originally based on real norse mythology (from what is called Scandinavia nowadays) from over a thousand years ago, in the viking era. Ofcourse this is a comic book version of those characters, but the names of places and people are the same. This is why Dr. Selvig (being originally swedish) talks about it being "children's stories", as a lot of children here in Scandinavia have heard the stories about Thor with the hammer from ancient times. Also, Heimdall is the guardian of the rainbow bridge in the mythology as well. He is described as being able to see everything and hear everything. I remember a particular funny line from the mythology that he could "hear the wool grow on the sheep"... he's that sensitive. A lot of the weekdays, even in english are still based on norse mythology. - Tuesday comes from "Ty's day" (Ty is the god of war) - Wednesday comes from "Wotan's day", which is an english way of writing "Odin's day". It is called Onsdag in norwegian. - Thursday is "Thor's day" - Friday is "Frigg's day", Frigg is the wife of Odin and mother of Thor. Also the world of humans is called Midgard in norse mythology, which was translated into "Middle Earth" and used by Tolkien as the name for the world of Lord of the Rings (which borrows a lot from many mythologies) Theres plenty more, but I shouldn't write an entire book in here :D

When Eric calls Coleson and the SHEILD agents "Jackboot thugs" there is a reason he gets offended. Being compared to fascists, and bullies is really insulting becuase unlike General Ross "the incredible hulk" and the senators from Ironman2 he isn't in this for power or an ego trip. His childhood hero is Captain America, and he tries to live up to that in his job. Also pay attention to the location where the Giants and asgardians fight on earth, you will see it again soon.

Please keep your eyes open for all the Stan lee cameos.

Just a heads up, marvel movies tend to have extra things after the end credits so it’s worth keeping them on until the end as they usually tie into the overall story.

Daniel Sheargold

Loki really does grow on you after awhile

Robert Meza

Idris Elba as Heimdal was an awesome choice!

Nathanial House

Yeah you're gonna have to go back a ways to find it. They went on a Jim Carrey spree last year.

Nathanial House

Interesting fact: this is the only Marvel movie shot entirely in Dutch angles. Something about spending all their budget on special effects and Anthony Hopkins... not enough left over for functioning tripods.

Nathanial House

i'm enjoying these reactions so much and i am so happy that you are watching the after credit scenes ^^ on to one of the greatest characters in MCU - Captain America! (most of them are "the greatest", btw... but Captain America is the FIRST Avenger :) )

Igor

Hopkins was showing half his face with the eye patch and headgear. Not to mention he altered his speaking in "Silence of the Lambs..."

Mr. Writhms

All will be revealed

Angrytoybox

Loki is the god of mischief and Thor god of thunder

Satoru

I was hoping they would notice Sir Anthony Hopkins too! My hopes were falsely risen when Hella said 'Silence! of the Lambs'... I thought she might have been drawing the reference on purpose but I think it was a happy coincidence haha

Bangors Mostbaked

I must have missed that!

Andy Worthington

They already reacted to that movie

Blackwargreymon00

It's not a Marvel movie but it is a different take on the character of Loki. You should perhaps checkout The Mask one day. It's one of Jim Carey;s best.

Andy Worthington

1:26:21 lmao, yeppp the director told em

Thalanoth

I think they just watch what there editor tells them to.

N2Joker

He is a really good actor. He just turned off the cannibalistic serial killer vibes and they didn't even recognize him.

Steven Roy

hey is there some special chat where we introduce movies to these ladies or how ya'll do it? polls or what?

Mark W

I'm almost 50 years old so of course I like Goodfellas. I also accept that it's dated. At this point it's been ripped off and remade a million times. I actually find The Departed to be a much more enjoyable Scorsese watch at this point. But I also understand that fun things are fun. And Marvel movies are fun as hell. And they're also quite brilliant movie making. Their interconnectedness and the way that they tell individual stories while at the same time weaving together a greater overall (and gigantic) narrative is unprecedented in movie making and an incredible feat. I'm so glad that they're covering them and I hope they go all the way through Endgame. Also the ladies aren't ignoring their fans that like other movies and TV shows. Just in the last week they've put out the amazing Unforgiven and covered the classic Marilyn Monroe picture Some like it Hot, and continued with their Game of Thrones reactions. Don't throw a fit just because everything that that they choose to watch isn't exactly to your taste. In my mind the variety of media that they're covering is evidence of their being very thoughtful and inclusive of a variety of tastes. I can't imagine hand picking a better, more well rounded variety of media myself.

Joel Purvis

Great reaction! I cannot wait for you to watch Captain America! IMO the real start of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is... Well it's Iron Man of course. But after Iron Man it is definitely Captain America. Everything else is prologue.

Joel Purvis

That's what I thought too. The Silence of the Lambs probably made less of an impression than Star Wars.😅

Digitalversager

I had completely forgotten that Kenneth Branagh directed Thor. I first noticed him through his work (both as an actor and director) on Shakespeare movies and of course his portrayal of Gilderoy Lockhart in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was great. He is a really good actor and director. Thor and Thor the Dark World often get a lot of criticism, even among Marvel fans. But I like both movies, and since I'm not a big comic book fan, I'm probably a bit more lenient with my criticism.😅 Loki still has a long way to go as a character. I think he's one of the most interesting Marvel characters. The MCU is slowly picking up speed and the stories are slowly getting more exciting and the movies even better. That was a great reaction ladies, I love your energy when you react to superhero movies.💜 PS. Did something happen to your Patreon channel today? I like the visual design of Asgard, with its shining golden halls and the Bifrost Bridge, which was praised for its creativity and epic scale.

King Bob

There is no need to be petulant, many people like MCU it is popular. GOODFELLAS is painfully boring with no likable characters or characters with depth. It is a character-driven story with no plot but boring characters that are not relatable, there is a brotherly camaraderie that isn't very believable. Characters are deeply flawed, and while the film might intend for the audience to empathise with their camaraderie and dreams of power, it doesn’t always sell that emotional connection. For example, the so-called "brotherly" bond between Henry, Jimmy, and Tommy feels more like a temporary alliance rather than true loyalty. Betrayal is always looming, making their friendships feel superficial at times. Perhaps Scorsese meant to show that the mob's sense of family is an illusion—just business in the end. Generally, only people who like mobster movies like it. Obviously, I don't like mobster movies.

King Bob

Hella recognized Padme, but no one recognized Hannibal Lector. Odin is played by Sir Anthony Hopkins - he's a pretty good actor. This film was directed by Kenneth Branagh. Branagh is an English actor and director, mostly known for acting and directing Shakespearean movies and plays. i don't know if you Vietnamese Ladies are that familiar with William Shakespeare but he was like the Steven Speilberg of the 16th/17th century. He wrote and put on plays that American High schoolers are forced to study. Many consider him the greatest writer in the English language. Tom Hiddleston plays Loki. He kinda steals the show, right? Hiddleston originally came close to being cast as Thor, but when Helmworth got the part of Thor, Marvel cast Hiddleston as Loki. Looking forward to the Captain America reaction.

Steven Roy

Proto Type

I also am not a fan of MCU movies at all, but the constant complaining is really tiresome. let them watch what they want to watch. they'll still continue to watch other genres.

Henry N.

Great reaction as always. Love the mcu movies. Not the most complex storytelling, but just very fun movies that’s nice to watch. Thank you for starting your journey to one of the biggest movie universe.

Nathaniel

From a petulant and, frankly, reprehensible character to one of the most complex and endearing characters in the MCU. Loki's character growth is impressive. Tom was absolutely brilliant casting. Most of the MCU casting is pretty darned good.

Thessair

It's fun to watch the girls discover new things, but these comic book hero movies are too stale of a format to offer anything of real interest. This leads to just a churn of slop content rather than a journey of discovery.

Bezoar

Everyone likes different things. Why not give people who enjoy the Marvel films time with the Munchies? Not to mention, like Star Wars films, MCU movies are guaranteed to boost reaction channels.

Thessair

Looking forward to Captain America!

Gregory A Mann

This could have been something good like a Goodfellas reaction since they were supposed to do more crime movies but the slot is wasted on MCU garbage.... just think theres going to be like 25 more of these if thwy do the whole MCU....sigh

Alex Anderson

I’ve been curious to see this since I want to know if you ladies end up liking Thor or Loki more. Seems most people like Loki. Of course, Thor was kind of a jerk in the first movie until he was forced to learn some humility.

Noal McInnis

nice

Daniel
