Hella: “did he have a party or something??” Yes. Yes, he did! But it was his ‘party-for-one’ with a bottle the night before 🤢 Well done to McClane for solving the New York issue on a very, very bad hangover 😂 Great detective work on hearing “it’s been raining dogs and cats”, too. Nobody whose first language is English would mess up that phrase! Good spot, Lieutenant.

2025-01-06 08:18:27 +0000 UTCfingers crossed you do Live Free or Die Hard (2007) after this, I think that movie is really fun, Die Hard with a Vengeance might straight up be one of my favorite action movies, all the action setpieces are great, Simon Gruber proves he is just like his brother because you think he's on some grand revenge quest but all he really cares about is money, killing McClane is just a little bonus, Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson have great chemistry, they are in another movie together called Unbreakable (2000) that is one of my favorite Bruce Willis movies, you've seen quite a few of Bruce's movies at this point but here are a few more great movies of his to watch; The Last Boy Scout (1991) - Action Death Becomes Her (1992) - Comedy from the director of Forrest Gump, Back to the Future and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Twelve Monkeys (1995) - Sci-Fi The Whole Nine Yards (2000) - Comedy from the director of My Cousin Vinny Sin City (2005) - Thriller, very stylish

2025-01-06 00:33:37 +0000 UTCFirst, let me say again how much I enjoy this channel and your reactions. This is one of my favorite in the Die Hard series. Second, I find it interesting when directors and actors put in "easter eggs" in their movies. Easter eggs are props or lines that appear in other movies, usually by the same director like what Tarantino does with his universe of movies. In this movie, it was a throw away line almost and most may not have caught it, but McClane tells Carver that he was at home "smoking cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo." This is a line from the song that Bruce Willis's character was listening to in the movie Pulp Fiction right before he sees Wallace. Willis and Sam Jackson are both in Pulp Fiction though their characters never engage or meet in that movie. I don't know if this was the actor's choice or the director, but I think it's cool how they reference their time together from years ago in Pulp Fiction in this movie with this little throw away line. Chi and Hella, it is always such a pleasure watching you both!🩷

2025-01-05 17:53:19 +0000 UTCYes, I agree with you. From today's perspective, the first two parts seem a bit disconnected from the series. I find it interesting how different parts 1 and 2 seem even in comparison to each other. The first is a typical spy thriller which, apart from the stunt at the end, is still really classic. The second has this over-stylized John Woo style with crazy action scenes. From MI 3 onwards, the series slowly finds its identity with a loosely connected story and gets better and better. I think it was from MI 3 onwards that Tom Cruise himself started to be more involved in the production. The series is definitely one of my absolute favorite movie series and when you see how excited the Movie Munchies were about Die Hard, I'm sure they would love Mission Impossible.

2025-01-05 02:17:36 +0000 UTCThis is the best Die Hard movie. Part 4 would also be worth watching, the movie is better than its reputation. Part 5 was just made to make money. The actor who plays Zeus also played Master Mace Windu in Star Wars Episodes 1-3. Since you like plot twists, action and cool stunts, I would like to recommend the Mission Impossible series to you again. Exciting stories, lots of twists and turns and some of the best stunts of all time. Tom Cruise is simply the best in the field.🔥 As always, that was a great reaction ladies, it's always a joy to watch when you really get excited about a movie.💜
