But even though I’ve read the comics and seen all the movies and am American, I have NO IDEA how you followed this film. It would be very confusing I imagine. I love DC but this version of the heroes and related movies is just a mess. Ben Affleck is great and Gal Gadot is too but the movies are just all over the place. I’d suggest going through the Marvel movies starting with 2008’s Iron Man, all the way up to Avenger’s Engame. It’s around 20 movies, but they are all connected VERY WELL, and are probably way more enjoyable and way less confusing.

All I remember from the theatre is random horn head bad guy shows up and fights them and he dies. None of the mother box stuff is explained

2024-10-21 03:16:38 +0000 UTCThe For Autumn credit at the end is actually for his Daughter Autumn who passed away during the making of this film. That's why there are two versions of it. WB didn't want to give him the time to mourn his loss and brought in Joss to finish it originally and it tanked horribly. So after a long online fight the fans were able to get them to let Zack finish his version which is magnitudes better. Just sucks that WB couldn't accept their mess up and let Zack continue his vision so now we won't get the Batman movie we deserved with Affleck or any others.

2024-10-21 02:14:25 +0000 UTCHonestly this movie works better if you just ignore the last 20 minutes or so, it's all set up for movies we will never see, also i just hate the weird Batman dream stuff with evil Superman, having read some of the ideas Zack Snyder had for sequels it's probably for the best this is the last one, I'm glad his version got released but Snyder never made a good film again and I doubt he ever will at this point, which is a shame as I enjoyed his early films, other characters from this movie turn up in other DC movies but it's very hit and miss, mostly miss, Aquaman (2018) is fun and was very successful (although technically not in the same continuity as this version of Justice League if you are wondering why Mera has an American accent now) and so is The Suicide Squad (2021), The Flash (2023) is there if you want more Barry Allen as well as many other DC characters from this universe and others, unfortunately it's not very good in my opinion, although it could make a good reaction, lots of surprises, but honestly it is a good thing we are getting a new DC universe next year, hopefully the quality can be a little more consistent, although rewatching this film with you ladies made me appreciate this film a bit more, there's some stuff that doesn't work but most of it does

It's mostly used for catching cattle from horseback, so it's definitely a cowboy thing, but sometimes Wonder Woman's rope and the way she uses it is referred to as a lasso. There won't be any sequels to this film. I think The Flash film from 2023 is the last of the DC movies before they reboot the DC Extended Universe under James Gunn. James Gunn is a really interesting director with a very different style from Synder. I suspect his version of DC stories will be brighter and more uplifting. He's directing a new Superman movie that will come out in 2025, and they have nine other movies and TV shows that will all be tied together. I think they are trying to be more like Marvel. Gunn has worked for Marvel doing all the Guardians of the Galaxy series (Great Movies) and he also directed for DC doing a Suicide Squad movie and The PeaceMaker TV series (It's really funny). I think the only thing that will be separate are The Batman movies directed by Matt Reeves. There's currently a TV show on HBO called The Penguin, which is about a crime boss that shares Batman's world. I don't know if you've seen the Marvel superhero movies, but a producer by the name of Kevin Fiege runs Marvel, so everything ties together, even if the movies and TV shows have different directors. If you haven't watched these movies yet, I'd love to see your reaction to them. It starts with IRON MAN (2008).

Your slow motion reaction was hilarious, the Movie Munchie Justice League reaction Snyder Cut, so to speak.😄 At the end, the dedication for Autumn has a long story. Autumn was the name of Zack Snyder's daughter. While he was working on Justice League, his daughter committed suicide, so Zack Snyder stopped his work on Justice League and Joss Whedon took over directing. In 2021, Zack Snyder got the chance to finish his version of Justice League and he dedicated the movie to his late daughter Autumn Snyder. That's why there are two very different versions of Justice League. Unfortunately, there will be no sequel, Warner Brothers has abandoned Zack Snyder's vision for the DCEU. The first Aquaman movie is still pretty good, but it only explains Aquaman's backstory. If you want to see more of the Joker, you can watch the first Suicide Squad movie from 2016. His role isn't very big though. The movie is actually pretty fun on its own. The Suicide Squad (2021) is also quite good. The rest of the movies aren't that good in my opinion. And it's not necessary to watch them either since the story isn't continued anyway. The whole Thing with Loise is the key and Bruce's dreams. In the possible future that Bruce sees, Loise was killed (I think it was the Joker who killed her, but I'm not 100% sure), which breaks Superman's heart and he turns to evil and even joins Darkside. With him, he builds a reign of terror on Earth. Batman and the last remaining free heroes and villains form the resistance and try to stop him. I would have liked to have seen these movies. The character that Lex Luther talks to on the yacht at the end is Deathstroke, he has similar abilities like Deadpool.

2024-10-21 00:24:00 +0000 UTCHi, first of all, I enjoyed your reactions a lot and about the Knightmare future is quite similar to the storyline in the Injustice video game series, Superman also becomes corrupted after a tragic event and establishes a new world order, with Batman leading a rebellion against him, both the Knightmare vision and the Injustice games feature a dystopian world where Superman is the main antagonist Zack Snyder has mentioned that the Injustice games influenced his vision for the Knightmare timeline. So, while they are not directly related, they share many thematic and narrative similarities. But, we will likely never see this because James Gunn and Peter Safran took over DC Studios, and they are doing a total reset on DC's storytelling. That means new superheros, new castings, etc.
