54. That was an entertaining upload. Yea Chi, Your gonna have to get into the X-Men movies to know who these characters are in the film but I can understand how you didn't notice Blade, its because he's older. Elektra was with Ben Affleck in Daredevil. There is Also a few Spider-man movies that you'll eventually need to watch before you get a little further down the MCU movies. Theres 2 renditions of Spider-man. The first one was with Toby Maguire then the second is with Andrew Garfield. I'm sure you'll recognize him from the film, Hacksaw Ridge. And after those films are under your belt, you are all caught up. Theres the Fantastic 4 as well but I never really got into those films so thats really up to you. But there worth watching to, to be caught up. On to the Next

2024-10-13 17:04:21 +0000 UTCSame, I didn’t get all either. My point was since it was basically a movie with all references, you’d need to know at least a fair amount to enjoy the movie more. Chi enjoyed parts and still had positive things to say about it at the end, but even she mentioned the lack of knowing most of the references. Im just saying this because if chi feels disappointed in movie compared to the others or feels like she wanted to like it more as she was really excited for the trailer, maybe if she watches those others movies she would enjoy this movie more in the future

2024-10-13 14:20:45 +0000 UTCEven I didn't know until now that Channing Tatum was supposed to play Gambit, and I'm actually pretty well informed. I think a lot of people didn't get all of the references and still had a lot of fun with the movie otherwise it wouldn't have been such a hit.😅

2024-10-13 04:00:10 +0000 UTCChi looked a bit bored at parts in this movie lol, I think it’s because this movie relies too much on other movie references, and Hollywood knowledge you guys haven’t watched or learned yet. So if you miss the references it’s just a boring 2 hour fight scene. Tien seemed to enjoy it a little more but I think Hella enjoyed it the most, she seemed to catch more of the references. But I can see why this movie wouldn’t be very fun if you don’t have all the background knowledge. For example Channing Tatum as Gambit if you have no knowledge of the situation is just a random guy talking weird. But if you know he was cast to be Gambit years ago and wanted to make the movie but they never did, his scenes are a bit funnier, especially when he says he’s not sure where he is from and thinks he was born there since his movies never were made.

I already said in the reactions to Batman and Superman that there are always many different versions of a character in comics, in this movie that was nicely illustrated in the army of Deadpools.😂 Seeing Wesley Snipes return as Blade after all these years was a huge surprise when I first saw the movie in the cinema. Great reaction ladies and thanks again for the double upload, it was a nice movie night for me.💜

2024-10-13 01:59:26 +0000 UTCYou guys didn't recognize Blade because he is 26 years older. :) haha Gambit, the guy who throws the cards and is hard to understand, speaks with a Cajun accent and is from New Orleans in the comics. Though Cajuns live in the US, they have a strong connection to the French language. You really won't hear this accent too much in New Orleans, but if you go to Lafayette, Louisiana (this is where I went to college) you'll hear the Cajun accent very strongly, and in the smaller towns, some of the older people might mostly speak a version of French, and when they speak English you might still need a translator.

"we not aloud to been in Marvel movie" looks like it was intended to have been ... "were not allowed to be in Marvel movies". They sold the film rights to some of their most popular characters at the time (X-men, Blade, Daredevil, Spiderman) to Fox. So until very recently those characters we not aloud to been in Marvel movie. This Movie is like a goodbye to the Fox universe of superheroes.
