it's a lot of Houses to keep track of. I read the books a couple of times, so I have that advantage.

"What Is Dead May Never Die" is the slogan of the Iron Islands, where Theon Greyjoy is from and where he went back in episode 2 of this season. It refers to a rite of passage for people of the Iron Islands.

Margaery is such a supportive wife. The best beard in all the seven kingdoms.

This episode you get to meet some people from HOUSE TYRELL OF HIGHGARDEN. The Tyrells are a rich and powerful house, and right now they are aligned with Renly Baratheon, Robert's younger brother. Renly is not very good at war, unlike Robert's other brother, STANNIS, who is also claiming the throne, but Renly does have a lot of men, so he's a big problem for Stannis.
Renly marries MARGAERY TYRELL, but is in love with her brother LORAS (AKA the knight of flowers). Margaery is smart and good at playing The Game of Thrones. She's not so worried about true love, but also seems to genuinely care for the people of the kingdom.
You also got to meet Brienne of Tarth. She's a very loyal character and reminds me a lot of Ned Stark, but taller :)
Tyrion's plan is pretty great in this episode. He tells three different stories so he'll know exactly who went back and reported to the queen. Good stuff.

Your analysis at the end is almost on point. You ladies are slowly becoming real Game of Thrones pros.
The king in this Episode is Renly, the youngest Baratheon son. In the books there was a very good saying about the three brothers.
"Robert was the true steel. Stannis is pure iron, black and hard and strong, yes, but brittle, the way iron gets. He'll break before he bends. And Renly, that one, he's copper, bright and shiny, pretty to look at but not worth all that much at the end of the day."
I'm looking forward to watching the next episodes with you. Great reaction as always ladies.💜
