Second that. Not sure if the Japanese were as brutal in Vietnam as they were in Korea, China, or the Philippines; or if it still being a French colony at the time (I think?) bears any relevance.
What I’d really like to see is a reaction to the movie Letters From Iwo Jima, showing the Japanese perspective in a battle AGAINST Americans. Great film.

Their reaction to Band of Brother is interesting but id much rather see their thoughts on the Pacific, Being that It is more relevant to them.
good or bad. I'd love honest commentary

Enjoying watching your reactions. This series does depict war as it should. Love this episode focusing on the Eugene Roe and gives us a medic's point of view. Medic's are the unsung heroes of the war.
The nurse, Renee Lemaire, was a real person. The black girl, Anna's name was Augusta Chiwy and she survived the war passing away in 2015 age 94. They were known as The Angel's of Bastogne.
Other than this, I won't say anything about any fate of any member of Easy until the end of the series.
