2020-04-12 15:05:36 +0000 UTCLoading the look and opening the scene have been this way forever. Open the "scene", make your edits if necessary, then save the "look" for loading into other scenes later.

2020-04-12 14:43:17 +0000 UTCNot sure if look gets stored in the appearance folder. I think they are meant to be loaded from the package manager now? Alternatively, you can download the VAR file rename the .var to .zip and transfer the files manually just like my previous downloads.
