Medical Emergency - Delay

Due to some health issues, I won't be doing a poll/accepting commissions next month. I'll be taking a month's break to catch up on finishing and posting the current poll winners/commissions. I'm hopeful that one month will be enough to take care of everything.

So a little over a year ago, I was in the hospital for a week with a bad case of meningitis that caused my optic nerves/area behind my eyes to swell (which is a fairly common symptom of meningitis, except the swelling usually only lasts a few days to a week, normally). This swelling causes your natural blind spots, which aren't normally large enough to be noticeable, to make you blind in parts of your eyes. My optic nerve swelling was not going down, hence me going to the hospital, and I was blind in spots in both eyes (the center of my right eye and the bottom-left corner of my left eye).

My neuro-opthalmalagist (brain-eye doctor) spent about a month of tests before declaring we'd meet in a year to see if my brain would naturally compensate for the loss of vision and I should get better.

Fast forward to this month and my left eye's blind spot has spread from the bottom-left corner to also the bottom-center.

Combine that with a number of seizures and my normal neurologist telling me that my epilepsy may be fatal and I have had a fairly stressful few months medically.

The good news is that my neurologist says there are treatments for my eyes so that I don't go blind, and I'm getting increased medication for my epilepsy as well as seeing a seizure-cluster specialist for clinical trials.

But I apologize for the slow amount of art being posted and I am doing my best to get my health issues under control and my manip backlog finished/posted. If I don't post anything soon, then I'm probably in the hospital again, but will still (I hope) have my phone handy for updates.
