team jere, don't watch this. | The Summer I Turned Pretty 3x9 REACTION

really, it isn't pretty. frankly, I'm over his bullshit at this point. my only problem with this episode was too much. jere, not nearly enough belly. I wanted so badly to see more of her in Paris. I did enjoy this episode though and think it was needed a bit as a come down from the wild journey that last few episodes have given us, I just wish it was less of a pity party for jere and more about belly. I think we could've done one maybe two scenes of mopey jere, but it was too much and I just don't care πŸ˜…

oh they 1000% both share the blame. I think it was irresponsible for belly to ever get with Jeremiah in the first place after she had any kind of relationship with Conrad and I will die on that hill. I just despise the way he's treated her this whole season and I don't think that he can never become a better person, I just simply think that in this show he's irredeemable when it comes to me liking him again. because I did enjoy him in the first two seasons for the most part. but seeing the way he treats other people this season especially has really just made me despise him as a character, but hoping for growth for him for sure.

I 1000% agree, the only reason I wasn't upset with the Steven reaction is that I just assumed he will bring it up maybe the next time jere needs him or something? I really hope he brings it up. on the other hand, both him and Taylor were cheating in the beginning on the season so I'm kind of stressed that he just doesn't see it as that much of a big deal at this point. I really hope that isn't the case though.

I'm Team Conrad, always have been, but being the wrong choice for Belly and overall a lousy fiance/brother doesn't make Jeremiah "irredeemable", it makes him a 22-year-old who made a lot (okay, a metric fuck-ton) of terrible choices one semester in college and who has the rest of his life to learn from them once he gets done feeling the feels of a mourning period that he needs to go through. Seriously though, Jenny Han/Amazon really couldn't figure out a better way to make Belly realize she was still in love with Conrad by giving Jeremiah a total 180 and making their relationship so unhealthy and co-dependent? (even Taylor said "co-dependent" by the way, "co-" meaning they both share blame, I'd say 80-20 Jeremiah)

I needed Steven to be more mad at Jeremiah, given how many times he has called out Conrad and treated him horribly. Hoping we get some redemption on that end next episode, in addition to obviously Belly finding herself a bit more in Paris, and then I really hope the Conrad/Belly endgame (assuming that's what the endgame is, of course, but I just feel like there's no way it's not) starts happening fairly early the next episode, because it will already feel too rushed, and I really need it not to all be in the last episode :/

I usually hate Adam but I think the advice he gave to Conrad was good.He just needs to give them some space and he doesn’t need to be the one to fix jer all the time. The best thing he could do for him is to create some distance so he can forgive on his own

As someone who takes a flight from North East US to Europe as often as possible, and as someone who knows what mediterranean are like, this was all pretty accurate, except for the traffic part, because Paris is NOT that peaceful on the road XD.
